“One of our favorite places to visit on Kauai was Nanea Coffee! The owner Mason and the environment he has created manifest the aloha spirit - welcoming, friendly, warm and spiritual. If you’re in the north shore of Kauai we HIGHLY recommend visiting this place. We went every day - except on Sunday when they were closed. Besides the beautiful location - the coffee, chai and baked goods were so delicious!”

“Just happened in and had a wonderful experience and meal! Nice wine selection and great food options made for a great meal. Add on a very sweet server and the experience was complete. We (3 people in our party of 4) opted for the 1/2 Kalua Pork/1/2 Short Rib lunch plate (each over rice scoop) with a flavorful brown garlic sauce, and then a scoop of nice mac salad (not too much mayo). Friendly, clean, fast, delicious! Who could ask for more?!”

So many protein bite options, raw goodies, and lots of tasty looking treats. multiple dairy alternatives to choose from for bevs. I got a little rose pistachio number that melted while i sat outside and while the presentation was ruined- the flavor was not! It was such a delicious floral taste with the pistachio,truly delicious”

“I love this place! We tried the Sexy baby maker, Mango Parfait(my favorite!) and 3 of their shots - ginger, immunity and mile high. I liked the ginger, the other two tasted awful.

What I love the most is that this place gives a credit towards your next purchase when you return the glass bottles, cleaned! I returned 5 of the containers we had and received a credit of 1.25$ - while it may not be much, I was happy I wasn’t contributing to more garbage on an island!

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island”

“Perhaps the best hand crafted artisan coffee in Kauai. This store is part of the Java Kai coffee roaster group but in a less populated place compared to other store locations. Tables are always tables available, both in door and out door. They really know how to bring out the aroma from their Salvador coffee farmer.”

“Yummy! This was an absolutely pleasant surprise. I found them because their Ahi Wrap was featured on Food Network's: The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Admittedly, there were issues with our order with the food taking longer than normal, so we were offered a container of poke to say sorry! The fish was so fresh and delicious. I chose the fresh catch plate (Ono) and the dipping sauces that came with it were delicious, my mouth is STILL watering! Seating is limited outdoors, but definitely still warrants a stop. Parking is plentiful in the front and back of this shopping mall.”

“My husband and I were so excited to try sushigirl and we were definitely not disappointed. We got poke bowls and they were so so good. Fresh ingredients which are locally sourced and the staff were incredibly friendly. There was a little bit of a wait (which was expected considering there were two people working) but that was totally fine, we just got a drink at the bar nearby while we waited.

Such an amazing place, it’s a must try while you’re in Kauai!”

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤”

“A fantastic place to stop for some delicious tacos. The staff is very friendly and the service is really quick. The food was incredible! Some of the best tacos I have ever had. If you are in the area, Paco's Tacos is a must!”

“You want to eat here. Trust me. Convenient to the National park entrance, and easy to find. Two brand new picnic tables to sit and eat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with good portions. After walking 9 miles in the park, these tacos were sooo welcome.”

“Our group stopped here and ordered a myriad of food items- chili, quiche, the daily special, a cinnamon roll, 4 different types of deli sandwiches, mac salad, potato salad, mango tapioca pudding, and the lilikoi limeade. All of it was fantastic!! Don’t miss adding on the tapioca pudding and the limeade (so delicious!!) The line was out the door when we arrived but it moved quickly. Excited to eat here next time we are in the area!”

“At home breakfast buffet with very less oil or butter. Scrambled eggs made with very less butter or oil and no meat. And you get bacon on the side. So that worked for both vegans and meat lovers.

“This is in the military compound at the volcano national Park. The entrance is very hard to notice. Sometimes google routes you from route 11, the entrance is always closed.”

“Food was pretty good but not amazing. For the price, it should’ve been a little better quality but overall it was good. I recommend getting the pizza which is normally fresh (sometimes not, it’s mostly luck). The view is great, you see the crater clearly and it’s amazing. Service was definitely 5 star, didn’t have any problems and they came pretty often to refill drinks. The wait to get a table is also not the best and sometimes takes awhile. Not many other choices, but I recommend coming if you don’t mind the cost too much.”
