“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! Their menu includes: Truffle Burger, Veggie Burger, Chicken Katsu Sandwich, Kenji Burger (teriyaki, ponzu aioli, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, tomato & arugula), Misoyaki Fish Sandwich, Salads, Sushi Burritos & Bowls (loco moco, chicken katsu, misoyaki fish, and poke). There are 2 locations on the island“

“My husband and I have been eating our way through the menu and haven't had a bad meal ever! It's my favorite place to eat on the island. My personal favorites are the deep fried mac n cheese or fries poutine appetizers, the duck or lamb dinners and always the cheesecake with bacon toffee or chocolate pudding. Drinks are fantastic and I love the infused smoked effects that can be added or the sweet martini drink on the dessert menu that tastes like drinking a snickerdoodle cookie. They have the biggest selection of whiskey, bourbon, scotch and rye around. A definate must try! It's truly the BOMB! ❤“

“Went here twice in 2 days for lunch. Monday had the Chicken Salad special for about $12.50. They were very good and the gave spicy mayo and a taco sauce in squeeze bottles to add as well as the salsa from the free chips. Great value. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Bathroom on side of building but clean and accesable only by key. Tuesday I had Chicken tacos special and wife again had the chicken salad. Tacos were not as good as the salad but were ok. Good food for reasonable price. Way better food than Kalypso or Kountry Kitchen.“

“I recently stayed at Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The rooms were charming and cozy, perfectly capturing the lodge’s unique atmosphere. Dining at the restaurant was a delight, with delicious food and a warm ambiance. Its proximity to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park made exploring easy, while the surrounding ferns, forests, and native bird songs added a magical touch. The well-managed, welcoming staff truly made it a memorable stay!“

“We LOVE Aunty Pon's. By far our favorite Thai food on island. Large portions, quick turn around!
The only downfall, the don't post anywhere if they are closed for that day randomly and they don't answer the phone... so risk the trip or not?! Also, no online ordering.“

“At home breakfast buffet with very less oil or butter. Scrambled eggs made with very less butter or oil and no meat. And you get bacon on the side. So that worked for both vegans and meat lovers.
Pancakes were awesome too!! Love this place and location“

“Hard to rate this place because experience varies greatly based on what you order. For the fish, 5 stars, it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The pasta was 2 stars, edible but extremely bland, and the chicken was dry and tasted boiled?
I guess my recommendation is definitely go here because the vibe is spectacular, and definitely order the fish, but avoid the pasta at all costs.“

“I had the garden burrito and miso soup. Both were very good. They are very willing to work with vegans. It might be smart to call before attempting to eat there; I showed up 30 minutes before close once and couldn’t order—hours aren’t set in stone. If you go, be aware that the Kilauea Bakery is in the same mall—they have a bunch of vegan desserts and pastries.“
