They were also very engaged in the show and had no problem sitting through the whole thing. If you're hoping for a peaceful early dinner, skip the 4:30 PM time during happy hour music. Great restaurant, but the volume ruined the vibe.”

The cocktails are well made THOUGH please Know they do NOT OFFER any blended drinks like naval flow or Pina colada...the wine list is extensive but they do offer the famous MonkeyPod Mai Tai with the foam. Plenty of all Local food ingredients and all were well prepared. And finally our server was perfection is personality, attentiveness, rechecking our needs, and bubbly energy. It should definitely be part of your Maui western shore dining. And do t forget: they offer 3 hours free valet parking while you eat at the Westin”

“Delicious sushi and so reasonably priced! We got 8 slices of toro for $45! Usually in CT that would run you $80! Service was fast ... sat down at 6:45 and out of there by 7:45! We were happy because we were tired from travel.”

“Excellent poolside service and delicious drinks and fish tacos. The staff worked quickly to serve the large crowd and were very friendly. The pool area is beautiful and so close to the beach. If you are staying at or near the Hyattz I would definitely recommend checking this place out. There are two spas and one slide and a kiddie pool too.

We went to the restaurant to order. While waiting for the food to be ready, I checked and noticed food was $5 cheaper per dish onsite than ordering through DoorDash for pickup. BTW, you will need to pay cash when ordering at the restaurant. Nice people, quick service, delicious food at good prices.”

We had the chirashi bowl $40, ahi and salmon nigiri, and rainbow roll $22. The fish is really fresh and quality.

For seating, there are 3 picnic tables that can probably seat 6 each.”

“It is the only full starbucks on the kaanapali walkway. However this starbucks does not have digital ordering system yet, so I haven't figured out how to track my starbuck purchase challenges. Phone purchases still work though along with basic point per dollar tracking.”

“We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections! “We had mixed experiences at this shop. The ice cream was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Some of the best coconut ice cream I have ever had and the Kona combination flavor was also divine. The coffee was pretty good, but not amazing. But when we had to eat there for lunch during a storm we were very disappointed with the food. I had a chicken caesar salad and the flavor was fine but the chicken was extremely chewy. My husband had a tuna sandwich that he also said was just ok. And then of course, everything is expensive. We also had the ham and cheese croissants for breakfast one day and the croissant was very yummy! So just sort of hit or miss but if you want ice cream, it’s a great stop!”

“Easy, delicious, and the perfect way to enjoy a sunset from above the clouds. Who knew Jersey Mike's would be the perfect dinner for a Haleakalā sunset! 🌄🥪 We ordered ahead on the app and picked up our sandwiches before making the drive 10,000 feet up to the summit of Haleakalā National Park. Despite the elevation and winding roads, the sandwiches stayed crisp, fresh, and totally satisfying.

Pro tip: Check out what the altitude does to your bag of chips—it's a hilarious little surprise! 😬 And yes, they were still the perfect salty snack to pair with a sandwich done Mike's Way.

Bonus for the Canadians: They even had All Dressed chips! 🇨🇦”

“I frequented this coffee shop when I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui late May. The coffee choices on menu were abundant and each time I tried something different with iced coffee it was always delicious and smooth.Service was excellent with friendly attentive staff that even remade my coffee as I failed to tell them I needed non dairy creamer.One morning I went down and tried the acai bowls and wow were they delicious amd healthy! Only downside was I should have asked how big they were. They were too big for me to finish and my partner and I could have saved money and split one.But the ingredients were fresh and didn’t skimp in the amounts of berries, nuts, or other toppings. Was my first time trying these and was delicious.So convenient having such a nice coffee place with options available right in the resort.”

Overall the resort is amazing with pool views and the beach!”

The smoothie was fresh delicious and what one needed in the heat. There usually are a few folks waiting around here but considering this is freshly made smoothie it is ready pretty quick. You can also qalk by the farmers market next door.

Ample parking but every time we drove by this place we stopped by to get a smoothie and ice cream. Highly recommend.”

“Half of my hotel stay was a 5/5 but it was bought by new owners for the other. I booked this hotel stay because it was the only privately owned hotel I could find in Maui. There was so much attention paid to honouring and celebrating Hawaiian culture, from the food to the amazing cultural centre. All staff was friendly and I had an incredible experience with the cultural centre staff who were always happy to answer any questions I had and share their own personal experiences. My farewell lei ceremony was a moment I'll never forget. I had a great Hawaiian meal at Hui Hui and halfway through my stay the hotel was abruptly bought and rebranded to Outrigger. Hui Hui is now going to be "Maui Brewing Co" and I can only hope that the new owner preserves what makes this place special - the cultural centre, the staff, and honouring/celebrating Hawaiian culture.”

“We heard from a local that Mama’s Ribs and Rotisserie has some of the best chicken on the island, and they weren’t kidding! For just $17, you can get half a chicken and two sides—a fantastic deal.

The chicken was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for great food at a great price, this is a spot we’d totally recommend. Don’t miss it!”

“Every visit to Maui my wife and I wound up at kohola brewery on many nights! Why? Great atmosphere, delicious beer (Waterman our favorite), and - most of all - a warm & welcoming people!! Also, music which ranged in quality from fantastic to …not good, all of which made kohola our favorite pub on Maui!!!”

Just because you get sat doesn't mean the server is ready for you. But there is no excuse for some of the comments I read. This is about to be fixed. You should never be looking around for a coffee refill of wanting a check. If there is an issue with your food the 3 minute check back is when you get to voice your opinion. If a server asks "how is everything? " be honest. We want you to enjoy it. Don't feel bad letting us know how we can improve your meal. That's what we get paid to do. We wanna know! “We started with cocktails which we amazing. I had mango mojito my husband had the special markers mark whiskey made for Roy's. Not sure about the brand. It had ginger beer too. Both drinks were great. Appetizer was coconut shrimp. Tender and flavorful. Dinner was Mac crusted ono and mamas Yama meatloaf. Both were on point. Too full for dessert. I felt as if a lot of the staff had worked there a long time. They had confidence and a ease in performing their jobs yet were on top of their game. No slacking. The guy who served our food was picking it up and moving fast to deliver it but took time to explain what we ordered. We will be back!!”
