The only thing I was surprised by was that my red wine was chilled, which was ok, but would have been better at a cool or room temp v fridge cold. Not a big deal. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive because its really so great. Recommend reservations but usually for a small group they can squeeze ppl in on not so busy nights.”

What a jewel - authentic, flavorful, Chinese food served fresh and hot! The hot and sour soup was delicious as was the Shrimp Mixed Vegetables and the Chicken Fried Rice. Our appetizers Vegetable Egg Rolls were also delicious and served piping hot. The dishes were served family style with simple dishware - perfect for lunch at their outdoor covered patio seating area The owner was so friendly, accommodating, lovely and personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!”

The Greek salad is vegan too. The feta cheese is in separate container. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered the Marguerita pizza with vegan cheese. It comes with a plant-based basil pesto (DELISH!) and balsamic glaze. Everything was delicious!! They have a robot cart that brings the pizzas out to your table. The customer has to take the pizzas off of the cart but still it is really cool to watch. They have a dairy free dole whip dessert too. They also have Greek food so the falafel would be another plant-based option. Please put yourselves on Happy Cow app and you will get many more customers. This a busy place! Popular. “We just so happened to stumble upon Slappy Cakes while driving by in Maui! We decided to check it out before heading back home from vacation and Slappy Cakes did NOT disappoint!! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was great, and everyone was very friendly. Coy was our server and we will never forget how awesome he was!! Not only was he an excellent and very prompt server but he stayed after closing time to finish a conversation with us about the island that left a lasting impact on our hearts. Most would have pushed us out, but not a single staff at Slappy Cakes rushed us out at close so we could enjoy our meal and our experience while also making powerful connections! “I frequented this coffee shop when I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui late May. The coffee choices on menu were abundant and each time I tried something different with iced coffee it was always delicious and smooth.Service was excellent with friendly attentive staff that even remade my coffee as I failed to tell them I needed non dairy creamer.One morning I went down and tried the acai bowls and wow were they delicious amd healthy! Only downside was I should have asked how big they were. They were too big for me to finish and my partner and I could have saved money and split one.But the ingredients were fresh and didn’t skimp in the amounts of berries, nuts, or other toppings. Was my first time trying these and was delicious.So convenient having such a nice coffee place with options available right in the resort.”

“We stayed for 4 nights in the resort for my aloha birthday dream getaway and it was truly amazing stay. The staffs are so friendly and accommodating mostly are Filipinos like me. Our room was upgraded to a partial ocean view which makes us feel so special though breakfast buffet is just fair not much of food selections. Overall the resort is amazing with pool views and the beach!”

“Half of my hotel stay was a 5/5 but it was bought by new owners for the other. I booked this hotel stay because it was the only privately owned hotel I could find in Maui. There was so much attention paid to honouring and celebrating Hawaiian culture, from the food to the amazing cultural centre. All staff was friendly and I had an incredible experience with the cultural centre staff who were always happy to answer any questions I had and share their own personal experiences. My farewell lei ceremony was a moment I'll never forget. I had a great Hawaiian meal at Hui Hui and halfway through my stay the hotel was abruptly bought and rebranded to Outrigger. Hui Hui is now going to be "Maui Brewing Co" and I can only hope that the new owner preserves what makes this place special - the cultural centre, the staff, and honouring/celebrating Hawaiian culture.”

“It is the only full starbucks on the kaanapali walkway. However this starbucks does not have digital ordering system yet, so I haven't figured out how to track my starbuck purchase challenges. Phone purchases still work though along with basic point per dollar tracking.”

You should never be looking around for a coffee refill of wanting a check. If there is an issue with your food the 3 minute check back is when you get to voice your opinion.
