“This has always been one of our most favorite restaurants. All dishes they offer are simply outstanding. This time we had Ahi Poke Nachos, Steak Poke and the Ramen dish. So incredibly tasty for a very good price. And what a view!

Update 2: We visited yet again yesterday. The food keeps on getting better. The crispy pork belly appetizer was beyond excellent. One of the best dish we ever had. Ahi & Steak Pokd were outstanding as always. I would give more than five stars if it would be possible.😀“

“Delicious Steaks & Seafood!

We absolutely loved our meals at Ono Teppanyaki and Seafood! The Ribeye, New York steaks, and Lobster & Shrimp plates were all incredibly good. Every dish came with delicious rice and perfectly grilled onions, zucchini, and mushrooms. The sitting area is clean with plenty of tables and trash bins. Highly recommend for a tasty meal!“

“I ordered the combo plate of garlic shrimp and garlic ahi katsu.

It was utterly divine!!!! I wish I could take this plate home on the flight. I wouldn’t miss out on this meal.

My husband got the combo plate with the fukake fried poke and the ribeye and it was mouth watering. ALL the flavor and juiciness you could imagine. I 1000000000000% would recommend.“

“Balai Pata is an absolute gem, and absolutely needed on North Shore / Central Maui in what’s otherwise a restaurant abyss of tourist forward formulaic burgers & fish tacos. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but it deserves way more recognition than it has received. I’m honestly shocked it’s not packed every single night. Their innovative fusion menu is both playful and thoughtful, with fresh, farm-to-table dishes that change often enough to keep every visit exciting. The staff are the sweetest aunties, making us feel like family and doting on our toddler every time we come. Our little one (and the rest of us!) can’t get enough of their malunggay (moringa) handmade garlic noodles. No liquor license yet, so it’s BYOB, which makes for an even more relaxed, homey vibe. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island - and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.“

“My son and I saw your IG post for Christmas Eve Prime Rib Family Dinner and we quickly made a reservation. As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. “I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. They were very attentive and efficient. Mahalo nui loa! 🌺“

“I am happy to see this local family get a brick and mortar location. For those of you that are from upcountry. These are the guys that used to do the ono BBQ on the weekends a few years ago. Then they were in Lahaina for a little while then at Foodland Maui Lani. Now they have this place. The food is still great and the value is awesome. These guys really give you bang for your buck. This trip I ordered the BBQ Steak plate and the BBQ chicken Plate. They both come with rice and green salad and their house dressing which I love the taste. I have tried almost everything on the menu with the exception of some of the specials and I can say they have some of the best BBQ plates on the island. I really like their BBQ chicken the flavor is all the way thru the meat. The location is new to them so it is still a little bare but they are working on it. I highly recommend these guys. The service is really good and I really like the fact that I am supporting hard working locals than know how to crank out good food at a good price. I recommend stopping by. The nice thing is you can buy the meat by the pound if you extra hungry.“
