“I visited for the first time yesterday and loved it! I ordered the mochiko chicken, which was delicious. The place was busy, with people waiting outside, but I didn’t have to wait as I sat on the bar-side seating, which gave a great vibe. They also have regular tables, but I enjoyed the bar-style atmosphere. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

“My first time trying this Vietnamese restaurant. I went during off hours, so plenty of parking and I was the only customer.

The menu is extensive typical of a Vietnamese restaurant, but I am here to try the Pho. The broth is very light, but beefy. Not too sweet. But its missing the essence of the spices, like the cinnamon, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds, cardamom and fennel. Also the smokiness of the onions and ginger. I just prefer my pho broth to be heavier on the spices. But I still enjoyed it. The rice noodles was perfect, and the meat toppings is a little on the stingy side. Also only one size bowl.

I also tried the Summer Rolls with BBQ Pork. It was just average to me. Service was good, attentive and refilled my water when needed. Came to check on me a couple of time. My Mom called me while eating and I ended up ordering the Chicken Pho for take out for my Mom.

They did get busier after I sat down with mostly take out orders.

I will definitely come back again. I like the convenience of satisfying my Pho cravings and I don't have to drive to downtown/Chinatown.“

The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. “Love this spot. It is a quick and fresh poke spot. They serve fresh fish in all their bowls and rolls etc. Street parking is fairly easy to find close by and they have indoor counter seating and a small outdoor patio. The costumer service has always been good.“

“We've been going to Lucky Belly since it opened. To say it's a Ramen restaurant is not quite true. Our absolute favorite dish is called Shrimp Kimchee Bowl. It's not like any Ramen you've ever had. Spicy, areas of cold, warm and hot. Perfectly cooked large shrimp that has a delicate coating. Unusual type of wood ears. Bean sprouts and ramen noodles. A perfectly cooked soft boiled egg and possibly the greatest broth you've ever had. We just came back to Oahu where we live after spending an entire month in Paris. We couldn't wait to have this dish. Every waitstaff is intimately involved with the cooking techniques and they all have the aloha spirit. By the way, if you are still hungry have the lobster shu mai in a delicate burre blanc. The greatest dumpling on Oahu.“

“We stopped by Daiichi Ramen Kapolei after a day at Wet n Wild. The delicious ramen warmed and put huge smiles on our 3 young kids after an overcast day of surprisingly cold waterslides. I had the combo meal with Japanese curry, ramen, and I forget which type of fried chicken. All 3 were terrific. We will definitely go again, even though they are the totally opposite side of the island.“

The rolls were the perfect balance of a crunchy shell on the outside with softer wrapper layers on the inside. The rolls were not too oily either.

The Holy Krab was amazing. It was like a creamy crab croquette in a roll. The Let’s Avocuddle was also a stand out. I like my meat, but this vegetarian option was surprisingly good.

There was also a cheese(?) sauce, sweet chili sauce, and salsa. The cheese sauce is literal crack“

“We recently dined at Phở Minh Thư and had a fantastic experience! We ordered two special phở and the spring rolls with grilled pork, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The phở had a rich and flavorful broth, and the portions were generous. The spring rolls were fresh and packed with delicious ingredients.

“Tonight we went to Uncle figuring on having a couple of cocktails . When we heard that they had changed some of the items on the menu we decided to have dinner.
We started out with their Caesar Salad which was huge and so fresh . Followed by their Seafood Chowder. I got to tell you I’ve had the chowder before but this time it was so much better. Lots of flavor and so generous with the clams and fish. I told Melissa ( our waitress ) what did they do to it ? She said they make the soup to order. That’s when we looked around the room and every table was having soup. Can’t wait to go back to have it again.
I’m a French Fries fanatic so had to try their Truffle Fries .oh man! I had to eat it slow cause I wanted to savor each bite.
Now if your a Fish person I say you got to try their Blackened Fish tonight it was Opakapaka. Man that fish just melted in my mouth. I had such a big smile on my face. Told my friend “ man, you got to try this. I was sorry to do that cause she had to have more. Being such a good friend as I am I said help yourself( ( mistake one became two , then three times) But, it was ok cause the portion was so big I had plenty more even had to take home for my lunch tomorrow.
Hey, I got to tell you the staff over there was just like family. Melissa our server was one riot . She had us rolling all night. She was the best! You like laugh look for her. You not going stop laughing.
The only disappointment was that we were so full that we couldn’t have dessert. Next time I’m going to start with dessert.
I suggest that you treat yourself and go check them out . They are under new management. I have to say from a point of view of a person that have worked in the food industry for over 20 years that Uncles has tipped the scales. From the chef to the front house crew they now have the passion and it shows, in their food So you guys out there give them a try!

“Well my friends, Finally made it back to En Fuego! We all ordered our normal favorites and we all loved our dishes. I got the pastele stew with garlic chicken. As much as I enjoyed the stew, I was so sad that I didn't have more garlic chicken! It was amazing! Not overly garlicky or to hard. So freaking good. This is definitely my new favorite garlic chicken. We also ordered the squid luau and is was ono! Nice chunks of squid and just the right amount of coconut and sweetness. B ordered the loco moco and he rated it a 11/10. Place is super clean, the staff very friendly as well! Well done En Fuego! My new favorite place in Kapolei. #supportlocal“
