“Located in the H Mart food court. This is a nice little eatery whether you want some dumplings, kimchi fried rice or a Korean style ramen. I suggest stopping in at lunch time it seems to rarely be crowded. The service was pleasant and helpful. The food was made with care and quality ingredients. The atmosphere, well you're in a grocery store food court, the word ambiance doesn't really apply.

Stop by and have some lunch, there are a few eateries in here and a small bar. So there is something for everyone.“

There are about ten side dishes and they are all delicious. I ate it without taking a picture haha.
It tastes like a non-irritating side dish.
The soybean paste stew is salty and spicy, not the taste of a meat restaurant.
The simple taste of making it at home without adding ssamjang, my child really enjoyed it even though there was pepper in it.
The seasoned ribs are also delicious. Most of them are not tough and the seasoning is just right.
Please do not cook only on high heat. It was a shame because the delicious meat burned quickly haha.
Jjambbong contains a moderate amount of seafood and has a rich taste.
Jjajang tastes like old-fashioned jjajang, and it’s light and good.

I also added pot rice, which is black rice.

Overall, everything was delicious, and I was very satisfied, perhaps because I live in a neighborhood that doesn't have many Korean restaurants.
The service is also very friendly!!!

“I am Korean, and was looking for some good kimchi. I was told h Mart's kimchi is okay but banton House is best. So I went there and was pleasantly surprised at some of the offerings they had. This is not a sit-in restaurant. It's simply just a grab-and-go grocer. All different kinds of Korean side dishes and wonderful kimchi. The kimchi is amazing and i would recommend it. Parking is a little tight. The owner is super sweet. Lot of Korean people shop here so that means it's authentic and it's good. They sell large quantities of kimchi in a plastic bag so be prepared, you need a container to put it in.“

I’ve been to over a dozen Korean restaurants on the island since 2018, but I keep coming back to this one—for the taste, price, and service. The food here is some of the most authentically delicious Korean cuisine I’ve found outside Korea, reminiscent of those hidden gem, back-alley spots in Korea.

Portions are generous, the banchan spread is solid, and most importantly the flavors are consistently spot-on. Their lunch and happy hour specials (before 7 PM) are a great deal so I usually go then.

Favorites: the angler fish, pork backbone soup, grilled pork belly, and honestly, any of the soups“

It's a bit small in terms of space when you're trying to seat people and let alone, walk around... or even get up from the seat with the limited space you have to move around. But I'll say that this place is pretty good for a small business, the food tasted good itself. For now, we got the mochiko chicken to start off with because it was a bit more familiar. “Elims has been apart of the Ewa beach shopping center for as long as I can remember. mom and pop shop, cardboard everywhere but still nicely intact, food counter is clean cold drinks are laid out nice and the banchan area is always filled. I thought to come here instead of pearls chain restaurant just to support local cuz id be sad to see them fold.I ordered the classic kalbi & meatjun combo. Now, the reviews may be right about the meatjun. It’s not the best, meat was kinda tough but flavor wise was ok, I’m all about having a good sauce to cover that so i ordered extra meat Jun sauce.Kalbi was freakin good. Way better than pearls because the marinate and smoky taste from the grill comes thru. It’s also not overly sauced up like some places, it just tastes like homemade kalbi cooked on a grill. You don’t need to get the meat Jun, but you gotta get the kalbi.4 sides: 2x mayo potato (always good lil sweet) noodles, and seaweed. Staff has recently changed a bit, but because it's still the same friendly service. My go-to is the spicy BBQ pork, but it's all good here and the sides are great too. I ordered the Seafood Soft Tofu Stew and also ordered the Beef Bulgogi for takeout. I am a big soft tofu stew (sundubu) lover! The seafood sundubu here was so good! Even my baby belly was moving with great excitement!
The banchan were all delicious with just the right amount of salt!

“Skip the overpriced AYCE places that represent 1/16 of what Koreans eat and come here. The menu is broad and covers (darn near) everything: jjigaes, mandu kuk, dok mandu kuk, soon toobu, kalbi, etc, etc. This is Korean food that a Korean mom would make, assuming she is a great cook. There is plenty of parking and the prices are great. The service was great, she went out of her way to painstakingly give us directions. Hands down the best meal we had while in Oahu.

“This place offers great grab and go or made to order Korean food in the Lanai food court in the Ala Moana Center. Normally, I'm not impressed with mall food and especially ethnic foods in the mall, but this place does a good job. It is a more contemporary take on Korean food, but it tastes great and reasonably priced for being in a mall. Their Bibimbap is my favorite made to order dish. It is packed with lots of the usual goodies and they offer brown rice for an healthy option. You can also get the japji noodles instead which I prefer since it adds more contrast and extra flavors that match well to the mix. The grab and go selection offers a wide selection of Korean favorites. Their triangle Korean flavors musubi are and excellent quick bite if you don't want much, but got a hunger you need to calm. There are both spicy and mild assorted fillings. A real winner in their grab and go selection is the KFC rice bowl. Piece of Korean fried chicken that are sauced up on hot rice. I recommend the spicy. It isn't that spicy, but just the right kick. The dish is small, but very filling. Probably would be good for a hangover.“
