“Very generous portion for the price. Pho soup came piping hot. The noodle was cooked perfectly al dente. The broth was not overly oily, great taste. Beef balls had great texture, not too soft not too chewy. Hu tieu was delicious with the fried garlic in the broth. Would definitely come back to try other menu!“

“My first time trying this Vietnamese restaurant. I went during off hours, so plenty of parking and I was the only customer.

The menu is extensive typical of a Vietnamese restaurant, but I am here to try the Pho. The broth is very light, but beefy. Not too sweet. But its missing the essence of the spices, like the cinnamon, star anise, cloves, coriander seeds, cardamom and fennel. Also the smokiness of the onions and ginger. I just prefer my pho broth to be heavier on the spices. But I still enjoyed it. The rice noodles was perfect, and the meat toppings is a little on the stingy side. Also only one size bowl.

I also tried the Summer Rolls with BBQ Pork. It was just average to me. Service was good, attentive and refilled my water when needed. Came to check on me a couple of time. My Mom called me while eating and I ended up ordering the Chicken Pho for take out for my Mom.

They did get busier after I sat down with mostly take out orders.

I will definitely come back again. I like the convenience of satisfying my Pho cravings and I don't have to drive to downtown/Chinatown.“

“Casual Vietnamese restaurant with a diverse selection of noodle dishes from different regions of Vietnam. I tried the hu tieu Nam Vang, which was a delicious bowl of clear noodle soup. The flavor was solid, and while the squid and shrimp were just okay, the overall dish hit the spot. I’m definitely interested in trying their other noodle bowls. Service was quick and efficient.“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. “Small shop in a shopping center. Typical low-rent decor and layout. Incredible banh mi. Best I've had since living here, and I'm kind of obsessed with them. The BBQ pork is flavorful, the filings are balanced, and the bread is perfection.

The summer rolls were good, and the peanut sauce was top notch. My husband loved his pho and combination bahn mi.

This is a local Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. It's not a modern atmosphere, but there are plenty of table seats and the food comes out right after you order! The food was plentiful and the rice noodles were delicious, so I wanted to order other soup dishes next time. Recommended Recommended

Pho Large $16: It's a sweet broth, but it's delicious. In particular, the rice noodles are thinner and very soft than other places. Since I wasn't hungry, I ordered one and shared it between the two of us, and it was just the right amount.
Ice Coffee $5: Sweet Vietnamese ice coffee.
Ban Mi $11: The banh mi bread is delicious. I was full so I only ate one bite, but it was okay.“

“My family and I are visiting Waikīkī on vacation, and I think throughout our trip this may be the absolute best restaurant and food we've eaten!! We all got Pho and everything from the soup, to the noodles and veggies, tasted soooo fresh and delicious! “It is surprisingly good. I picked this place because it was right next to the airport when I landed, but the food quality wowed me. The noodle was very fresh, it was not some dried noodle that got heated up, but actual freshly made noodles which a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants don't offer. Other dishes are good too!“

Must try their oxtail pho! Oxtail has a lot meat and pcs. So far I have not had highblood when I finish my oxtail pho which is good that’s why I keep coming back. I know that when I finish my bowl I won’t have any problems (but that’s my experience). Pho Time is my go to for oxtail pho, bun bu hue, and pho in general.

“No frills Vietnamese food in a small but comfortable space on the edge of Chinatown.... The food was very fresh and authentic. Run by a local couple/family, the service was very hospitable... Prices very fair. The Vietnamese coffee was traditional slow drip and delicious. Ordered the banh mi sandwich and it was also a star... The bread was fresh baked, and had the perfect texture and softness on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the crust. Definitely recommended.“

“I love Pho and I'm glad I come to this Vietnamese restaurant. Food and service are good, and portion is also pretty big. I start with Pho Cuon rolls, it is ok but I like Nem Nuong Cuon better. For main I have Pho Suon Bo and it supposed to be a meal for 2. Soup is very nice and short ribs is soft and delicious. I'm so surprise that they have flan in the menu, and I like it a lot. “Pho Nam is our friendly neighborhood spot to get pho takeout if we are feeling under the weather, or to go for a quick family meal if we don't feel like cooking. The pho (we've had probably 5+ variations from this place) is good, with a flavorful broth. The spring rolls are another hit with this place.

Takeout is always very fast, food always comes out very fast. The space is clean, and above all the staff is incredibly friendly.“

Seafood Pho: When it's an option, I always order seafood Pho! For those of you who know how to eat Pho, you know that beef broth is a must, no matter what style Pho you order. Most places I have to ask for beef broth as it often comes with a vegetable broth...but here, it automatically comes with beef broth. And the seafood was not chewy. I would have loved to see some other seafood represented (it only had fishcake balls and shrimp) but it didn't take away from the healthy portion and umami flavor!!! 9/10 (Only because of the variety of seafood.) COVID Protocols: I felt very comfortable at Ha Long Pho, they require proof of vaccine, or negative COVID test, to enter...and...instead of your spices being left on the table, they are pulled after each guest, I can only assume to sanitize before the next guest uses it. 10/10 for sanitation and safety!!!“

“Fall Rolls were great and almost better to have them with their own garlic chili instead of the peanut sauce.

I got the vegetarian pho and the broth had a great taste. Amazing mushrooms and vegtables. I added two more scoops of the garlic chili and it gave it an even nicer taste.

“I chose take out, so I can only speak about the food itself, not the service. I ordered the vermicelli with spring roll. It was okay! I thought the nuoc Cham (sauce) was somewhat bland, and I added my own fish sauce at home. The vegetables were fresh and the noodles were a tad over cooked. The spring roll filling was tasty, but the wrapper was a little stale. It felt like it had been sitting out for a little. Nonetheless, the food was good! I would be willing to try the food at the restaurant or a different menu. :)“
