Only one bite into it and I’ve determined it’s going to be something I crave way too often. Growing up in Eastern Iowa as a bohemie, iykyk, I frequently visited Jaarsma’s and know my way around almond pastries of all kinds. The Coffesmith’s almond patty rivals all others! “This is a drive-thru coffee shop that's similar to a CarHop from the 1950s. Fun, super friendly, fast service at your car. The music is blasting and the girls come out to your car to take your order. It's usually pretty busy with several vehicles in line waiting, but the service is fast and the drinks are diverse with creative new mixtures. It's less expensive than Caribou or Starbucks. There is no dine-in option, the only drawback.“

“We split the tavern burger and the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious, the burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly and needed no extra condiments other than what comes on it! The fries were crispy good and the burrito was delish, as well-the 2 sauces were fresh and tasty with just a little bite to them. The special addition to the menu now is banana bread fresh toast with a maple glaze hollandaise sauce and black berries. It was so amazing, I want to eat it every day!! I highly recommend this new little gem of an eatery!“

“Visited this Caribou on Sunday May 1st. We like the coffee here. Ordered a large Northern Latte with almond milk and sugar free caramel. Waited for 20 minutes to be handed an iced Latte and a little longer to be handed a medium instead of a large and couldn't wait any longer so we drove away with a wrong size coffee.“

“I've recently had to put down a loved furry friend two mornings ago, it's been heavy on my heart and has been more painful than I thought it would be, the next day I had to go to work despite what had happened... I went to go grab a coffee in hopes to make myself feel a little better, but what I didn't expect was when I came through this very drive thru, the employees have shown me so much kindness and it really made my day, they perfectly made my coffee and were the sweetest people❤️ so thank you everyone that was there during that, I hope y'all's manager sees this and gives you guys a raise, like honestly these baristas are the kindest people I've met since moving here, so seriously, thank you guys for making my day after a hard event❤️‍🩹“
