“We arrived at Al's right at 9 PM - while most would have the look of "are you kidding me... we just want to go home" - we were served with welcoming smiles and warm, positive verbal and nonverbal tones! “This is an amazing shop in the Highland Park Oak Park area just off of sixth. The ice cream is so tasty and the ELOTES, fire. The price is also where it needs to be for the neighborhood demographic, affordable but profitable. It is so wonderful to have in the neighborhood :)“

“We decided, as we drove by, to stop in and see what this place was about. It was a really nice environment (kind of like Molly's Cupcakes). I tried the "Molly's Mashup", where the take a cupcake, split it in half, and put ice cream in between with a topping (I opted for red velvet cupcake with strawberry lemonade sorbet with whipped cream) and he tried a double scoop of mixed berry swirl ice cream. The awesome thing about the mixed berry swirl was it had pieces of vanilla cupcake in it. We were satisfied with what we got and plan to try a different combination the next time we come!!!“

“In the nicest way possible, this place was so overwhelming!! There were over 60+ options & flavors to choose from. Everyone working there was so kind and patient with me. They let us try as many samples as we needed and let me roam around the flavors for several minutes because I couldn’t make up my mind LOL.
I decided to be simple and get my reliable Rocky Road, but they had a lot of vegan, milk friendly, sorbet options as well! They were very generous with their scoop sizes, I don’t know why my friend insisted on getting 3 scoops 🫣. I would be interested in trying a sundae next time!“

“I have come to this location many times and the employees are always very friendly and efficient!! The only downside to this crumbl bakery would be the location it is in such a bad spot and the parking is always super busy and very tight. I’ve almost been hit multiple times by people parking basically on top of my car.“

“I made an order to pickup and when I walked in the door there were 5 employees and not a single one acknowledged me in any way. Not one smile or even eye contact. They were all very busy working and I get that but it only takes a second to acknowledge a customer. The cookies look fantastic and taste amazing. No complaints about the product but I do think the customer experience is not great due to being ignored by the staff.“

Ignore the Karen's in the other reviews, I don't know who expects a froyo place to have highschoolers who aren't a little shy. “Great service. We were asked if we qualify for the senior discount. No one had ever asked us that before. We do. So, received a 10% discount. The blizzards were good but looks like the medium size is not as big as in the past. Not surprising

“This is in a predominately Latino strip mall so a lot of the staff don't speak much English but I can usually get by on hand gestures. The paletas (popsicles) are really good here! I usually get the "fresa con crema" which is strawberries and cream. They also do a lot of other novelty foods which I haven't tried yet, but they seem very popular! They also have hand-scooped ice cream but I'm not sure if it's made in-house or not. Apparently, that was very good and creamy!“

I got our usuals tonight, and they remembered that I used the drive-thru last time because I had my dog with me. They asked about him and even packaged up a pup cup for him!“

I got the gelato three scoops regular strawberry and green tea. The strawberry was a bit sour but the... ????? ???!!!? was soooooo smooth(that I forgot Im lactose intolerant) having both helped balance it out. 10/10 recommend ?“

“We needed 3 tubs of ice cream for our Dad's 90th birthday party. He used to own a Baskin Robins in Minnesota and having Pralines 'n Cream, Jamocha Almond Fudge and Vanilla were an important part of the party. After not being able to find the tubs here in MN I contacted Satish in Windsor Heights IA. He took the time to help us out and we were able to purchase the from him. Thank you so much Satish! Our Dad (and all the guests!) loved the ice cream!!“
