“We decided to try Happy Teriyaki last night, and I’m so glad we did! From the first bite, everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and the portions were huge. It’s hard to find a place where everyone in the family leaves happy, but this was definitely one of those spots.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the whole experience made us feel welcomed and appreciated. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve. We’ll definitely be back, and I can’t wait to try more from the menu. If you’ve been thinking about giving them a try, do it—you won’t be disappointed!“

“One of favorite places too dine. Sorry no pics. Never think of it until too late. I had the Pho with short ribs. First time ordering. I usually try something different each time. The short rib melted in your mouth. It is a fusion Asian establishment so aside from sounding contradictory, it isn’t what I would consider authentic Pho. If you don’t smell like pho for a day or two, than I consider it American friendly. 🤓. It was still delicious and fresh ingredients. My wife has her staple Kao Sao (so?). Very tasty. The fresh rolls were also extremely fresh. Toffey (sp?) our hostess was awesome. She spent time with us discussing the menu and the chefs talents which we know first hand. Emily, our waitress was attentive and prompt and provided excellent service. We have never had a bad meal or service here.“

“This review is for the Garden City location!! I have loved this place for a long time. But unfortunately tonight my Katsu was burnt to a crisp, fried rice was as dry as the Sahara. My kids plate was the same order and not any better. My partner's orange chicken was rubbery, like it had been out for a long time. Her Katsu was burnt as well. We have eaten there so many times but the last 2 times it's been absolutely terrible as well and I feel like it was a waste of money. We made macaroni and cheese because we had to throw it out. Next time, we will have to go to the Meridian location and see if our luck is better, but it's going to be a while before we do.“

“This restaurant has a great location in downtown Boise, right on the corner of 8th St. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I got the crunchy chicken and vegetable combination. I went with a medium spicy sauce. The crunchy chicken was good, but I have a feeling the Koko (K-BBQ chicken) would be a little better. I'll have to try the Beef BBQ as well. Portion was good for the price, and they got the food out very quick. So, if you need to eat in a hurry downtown, this is a good option. I'm definitely going to kick up the spice level next time, because I do like my food and life spicy.“

“Ate at the Rice Work July 9th. Ordered the teriyaki, veggies with rice. The rice was way over cooked and the veggies consisted of all broccoli and was under cooked. Chicken was so so. Would rate this meal just above garbage.“

“Staff was friendly. The food portions are a healthy size. We ordered to go towards the end of the night. My order took a little longer since there was quite a few to go orders. I was offered a free drink to keep me happy because the wait time was so long. Overall, my experience was good.“

“If I could give them 500 stars, I would! We went around to different Mongolian restaurants trying to find a really good one, and this one wins! For YEARS we keep going here and are never disappointed. We moved away for 5 years and the biggest thing we missed was this restaurant. When we moved back it was the first place we went for dinner. “Happy Teriyaki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 1/25/23, I had to work late and stopped at Happy Teriyaki on Federal Way in Boise for take-out. This was my first time visiting this business. I was a bit skeptical because I knew it was a franchise with 10 Idaho locations, but it was on my way back to the office and I always like to try new things.  I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Happy Noodles with Chicken ($12.95), which is Chicken on a bed of Yakisoba Noodles. Other protein options are beef or pork. I was drawn to this dish because Yakisoba isn’t on many menus in  Idaho. In fact, the first time I ever had it was before it was on any local menus, and I had to make it myself from scratch.  The service was excellenot. My order came out fast. It was steaming hot and I could tell from the heft of the bag that it was generously portioned. It made two meals for me. I like that it had a large portion of chicken. The noodles were deliciously, seasoned and perfectly cooked. This is my kind of “fast food.” My five star review is based solely on this dish because it’s the only one I’ve tried. It was excellent! And it’s the best Yakisoba I’ve had in Boise to date. Highly Recommended!!!“

“I love this Cupbop so much!!! I’ve been coming here for months now and it’s rare I’m ever disappointed with my meal. I always get a Koko Bop with a level 5 sauce plus the white sauce and it is perfection. Plus the workers are usually very nice and have good service!“

Billy and his team are incredible. His spot downtown was truly a favorite until the building was closed. We were thrilled to see he still catered and we used him for our wedding. It was amazing! His menu catering menu is generous, he was incredibly accommodating for celiac and allergens, and remarkably affordable. And the food was delicious! Multiple people asked where the food was from, giving compliments. Would highly recommend for any event. Thanks Billy and Mai Thai!“

“I grab a chicken bowl from here every day. There were a couple of people waiting today and being impatient. It was only 7 minutes or so on a busy night. The kind gal upfront 'Nicole' was super sweet and respectful in letting everyone know the timing of their order and that other orders were already being processed. The food is yummy and affordable. They definitely get busy here and the food is cooked correctly. Some reviews talk about the veggies being plain but I personally like them steamed plain without seasoning, as I add their delicious custom sauce to it. I will be back every 48 to 72 hours I am sure...“

“I had the teriyaki short ribs and pork with side of macaroni salad and white rice. The whole dish was phenomenal the short ribs and pork was seasoned/brined verry well and the macaroni is the best I have had in the valley.“
