They make a delicious Reuben, but with that sandwich, I always get the Crinkle Fries. They are fresh made every time.....hot and crispy with a creamy center. If you thought Mickey D's had great fries, you'd be right, but these just might change your mind about who's are better. They're that good.! And don't forget the Jamocha Shake!!!“

The burgers have really good flavor, a little bit of a longer wait because they are cooking them on the griddle when you order. Allow for a little extra time when you order. Of course the line is not as long as McDonald's so you're probably out much quicker. The food is always fresh and hot.

Left the DMV (ugh-lol) across the street and treated myself to a mother cruncher and fries & my wife got a burger and mozz sticks- Food was SIZZLING HOT! Service was fast! Was it the "friendliest" fast food chain ever? Maybe not, but I was too excited about my fries to care! I really liked passing by despite seeing that the drive thru was so full at lunch time, and there were people eating inside too but with room for more. I stopped by urgently because I had to bring something to my husband who couldn't go out shopping and I had agreed to take him lunch, and I had forgotten it. It was late, and my son was about to get home from summer school. I was in a hurry, and the cashier noticed it and tried to help me. Thank you very much for being there and for also being so kind to the older people who were in line before me. Thank you for having a very good teamwork at this McDonald's. “At 9:00 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2022, our group of thirty-plus 6th through 8th graders, and their parents, converged upon 5555 Grand Avenue in Gurnee, IL. Our normal after performance ice cream place had closed early that night, so we set our sets on the next closest, largest and family friendly restaurant…McDonalds. We were loud. 30 kids singing show tunes at 9:00 at night, immediately following a theater performance? We were SO loud and ridiculously unorganized. Your employees, every single one of them still left at the restaurant at that hour, were so kind, patient, understanding, friendly, polite and hard-working. The manager on staff at the time, Cesar Lopez, managed it all beautifully and even kindly suggested we call ahead next time so he can be certain he’ll have enough staff on hand to handle another after-theater surge. While our kids were all mostly well-behaved and polite, it was definitely loud, controlled chaos for a good hour. We’re so very thankful for the extremely respectful way our kids were treated that night. The employees at 5555 Grand Avenue made what could have been a very stressful event into a…non-issue. Which, when you’re trying to corral 30+ adolescents, is a very good thing. You’ve found customers for life.“
