“So there were only THREE guys working this afternoon... However their personalities equalled at least SIX! All three gents greeted me the moment I stepped in and had smiles on their faces.

Jeremy was super friendly when I ordered and all of them were having a good time at work. Smiling. Laughing. And getting it done.

My food came out fresh & hot and was delicious as expected from Five Guys.

I hope the whole team is as energetic and friendly as these three where today.

“Love this place!! Best chicken fingers anywhere. Very moist. Better in my opinion than that other Chicken place with the cows that can't spell. Texas toast is nice to have on the side. Not a huge fan of the slaw. But the sauce and fingers are great. Can be crowded and very very noisy inside. They do have a small outside eating area. We would probably go here more but its not super healthy food. We discovered it first in Ohio and were super pumped when they opened one near us. “Before Chick fil A became popular, there was Culver's, who also served quality fresh food with amazing service, which is also expensive lol. Culver's has a bigger array of choices for food. Just expect to wait because every order is made fresh. If you're in a rush, go to McDonalds. If you have time and money? Go to Culver's.“

The restaurant was spotless, from the dining area to the restrooms. On top of that, the food was fresh, and the staff was friendly. “Not all hero's get their stories told, sometimes, good deeds go unnoticed. The closing Crew of 08/28/24 were, are my heroes. The munchies were kicking in and decisions had to be made. Knowing old reliable is always there and is a constant hit, there really wasn't another place to go. Although there was a mess-up on the order- wanted 3 orders of Tenders but only got 1. I did not want to be those guys ordering food last minute before closing but there I was, at their mercy. When we figured out the order was wrong, they could had let me know they couldn't fulfill it, that it was too late, maybe even the kitchen close or the McDonalds way out, "The ice cream machine is broken" although you didn't order ice cream. But no, this isn't McDonalds and this isn't your average crew. The lady who took my order, who had provided some whip cream for my puppy, rolled up her sleeves and commanded her troops for one last task of the night. My order was taken, although hatred was in the air, completely understandable, she rallied her troops and completed the order. Going above and being the call.
The service they provided, the atmosphere they had, although they were deep in the trenches, they did not fold. I survived the munchies but it wouldn't had been able to without, again, The Legendary Crew of 08/28/24.
I owe you guys one for coming through, I tip my hat to you guys and little snooky, who took my order.

“Went through the drive up and with a dead phone battery and no way to charge it I couldn't use Google maps to get back to my hotel. This supervisor took the time to Google map my hotel then hand wrote down every single exit/ turn/ even streets, .. 99% of people would not even attempt that and she needs to be recognized for her customer service skills and kindness.. I gave here a Walmart gift card with a whopping $4 left on it and I was so embarrassed but thought that was the only way at that time to show her, how do you say???

“At 9:00 p.m., on Friday, December 16, 2022, our group of thirty-plus 6th through 8th graders, and their parents, converged upon 5555 Grand Avenue in Gurnee, IL. Our normal after performance ice cream place had closed early that night, so we set our sets on the next closest, largest and family friendly restaurant…McDonalds. We were loud. 30 kids singing show tunes at 9:00 at night, immediately following a theater performance? We were SO loud and ridiculously unorganized. Your employees, every single one of them still left at the restaurant at that hour, were so kind, patient, understanding, friendly, polite and hard-working. The manager on staff at the time, Cesar Lopez, managed it all beautifully and even kindly suggested we call ahead next time so he can be certain he’ll have enough staff on hand to handle another after-theater surge. While our kids were all mostly well-behaved and polite, it was definitely loud, controlled chaos for a good hour. We’re so very thankful for the extremely respectful way our kids were treated that night. The employees at 5555 Grand Avenue made what could have been a very stressful event into a…non-issue. Which, when you’re trying to corral 30+ adolescents, is a very good thing. You’ve found customers for life.“

“During our cross-country trip, my girlfriend and I visited Gurnee Mills Mall. Before leaving, we used a gift card to get Auntie Anne's. Although the gift card had a balance large enough to cover the food we ordered, the machine wasn't accepting it. Thankfully, the worker was helpful and understanding. He resolved the issue and made the situation good. The food we had was super delicious. I would give it a 5-star rating!“
