“got what i ordered quickly but they forgot my coldfoam on my coffee and then said that i never ordered it and that i would cost extra 70 cents so i got upset and left. Also their drivethrough speaker is horrible and they can barley hear you.“

“This McDonald's has become my go-to in the area, and for good reason! While no place is perfect, the very few mistakes I've encountered here over numerous visits have been corrected quickly and with a smile. That's a testament to their truly kind and efficient staff.
Their positive attitude is infectious; it's easy to be kind in return when you're met with such consistently good vibes. It makes the whole experience, whether I'm using the drive-thru or opting for curbside pickup, genuinely pleasant.
The food is reliably good, hitting that classic McDonald's spot every time. Coupled with the great employees, it’s a winning combination that sets this location apart. I can't speak to the interior since I haven't been inside, but the exterior is always kept impressively clean, which I appreciate. If you're looking for a dependable and friendly McDonald's experience, I highly recommend this particular restaurant. They definitely know how to treat their customers right.“

“October Cafe is by far the best coffee shop around Chicagoland…. If you have not tried it you are missing out. The coffee flights change and always come with a wonderful theme. The owners are friendly wonderful strong women who show so much compassion for the community. I am blessed to have found this cafe, as a place that is relaxing and cozy and feels like home. The baristas ring a bell and announce your flight and bring you your meal and drinks if you dine in. So wonderful! “Deserves more than 5 stars! WONDERFUL experience each time I come here. Everything made from scratch. Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! You can tell they have a passion for the business. HIGHLY recommend! ENJOY!“

“We read about Joe Doughnut Itasca and thought we would give it a try…pulled up to a Shell gas station?!? Wow we were pleasantly surprised. Can’t begin to say enough good things about this place…not gas station food, custom fresh made to your liking off their full menu. Doughnuts were great, flapjacks were outstanding. Great variety of coffee products - regular, cold brew, lattes etc. The staff were warm and friendly, making you feel at home and explaining the menu to you. Met the co-owner, wonderful lady with passion for this place. Can’t believe it has been open for over 2 years. Great kept little secret. Will be back to try more of the menu!“

“My first time going to an indoor scooters and it was very clean, welcoming and smelt amazing. The person who helped me was amazing and helped me get a drink (strawberry horizon) it’s usually strawberry and peach but instead of peach I got coconut. Her name started with an M I should’ve asked her how to spell it but she was 10/10 her every and service. I would def go back“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“I came here just looking for a good cup of coffee and instead I ended up with a great latte. I ordered a medium latte with lavender and honey and it was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, this time I didn't order any food however, the menu looks quite tasty giving a few great breakfast and lunch options.

The overall atmosphere is quite cozy while still giving a very modern feel. This place would make a cute date spot or a great place to grab some coffee and get to work on your laptop.“

“There's a reason the line here is sometimes half a block long. The scones and banana bread are out of this world but the Olive oil cake is among the tastiest things I've had. Regardless of the time of day or how crowded they are the staff is friendly and incredibly efficient. I've never had to wait on my order for more than a couple of minutes. “I have never had a bad meal from Gnarly. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm just obsessed. Do yourself a favor and check out the specials. Their barista is a freaking genius when it comes to their specialty drinks. I would eat here everyday if I could. If you love soft pretzels gnarly is the place to be.“

“Visited here for the first time this past week to study. I got the Vanilla Bourbon latte which was fantastic. The barista was so kind! She answered some questions I had and was so helpful. Great environment to get some work done.

I returned again with some friends yesterday and again had a very positive experience. My friend accidentally knocked over her drink, but it was the same barista as last time and she was extremely sweet about it and remade the drink. HIGHLY recommend. Clearly a lovely staff and a great establishment. :)“

“My sister introduced me to this wonderful tea shop and I cannot recommend them enough. Their Earl Grey de la Crème blend changed my perception of the Leafy Noble and many of their other teas are just as scrumptious. Even non tea lovers can find something they like since the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will find something for even the pickiest palate. If you are in the area, skip the Starbucks and venture here. It will be well worth your while.“

I love that the lavender lattes are year-round, absolutely scrumptious pastries, friendly staff, and the environment is comfortable. Earlier this month before heading out, I went to purchase a sweatshirt but they didn’t have any in store in my size. Nick, the owner, went above and beyond offering to meet up beforehand, but I just didn’t have time-so he shipped it. It’s so comfy and I love that I’m able to represent another business that is close to my heart. Thanks, Weston’s!“

“Great place to meet for coffee or breakfast, one of the few places in Oak Park that are suitable for a business conversation. So many cafes are too small, too loud, or too inconvenient to get to/park. It's spacious and has lots of room between tables for privacy. Drink choices are creative. I had the turmeric latte and egg breakfast bowl and it was delicious, very filling and freshly made. It's not a super fast place though, so don't go if you're in a hurry.“
