“The food is great . Caldo de mariscos is great. Only bad thing that the waitress they need to wake up and smell the coffee and pay more attention to there customers not one single time they asked me if I was ok or I needed anything to on that side poor service. But the food is great.“

“Stopped here after a long day at the hospital and it was just what we needed. We we re e seated right away, the inside was authentic and very classic Chicago Chinese hole in the wall. If youre from Chicago, you know this is a good sign. The server came ans took our order right away, they didnt talk much but again, that doesn't matter when the food is good.

We ordered the Crab Rangoons, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli and Egg Foo Young. The Ragoons came out hot ans fresh, the Sweet ans Sour Chicken was cooked perfectly and the fried rice with it was also delicious. The Beef and Broccoli was a little too sweet but still good and the Egg Foo Young was also cooked pretty good, a little burnt but still good. And the side off Egg rolls and egg drop soups were so simple and yet so delicious.

“This is one of our favorite spots. Beautiful atmosphere. Food is always cooked to perfection. Our server Roger was attentive, friendly and efficient. Steaks, salmon, shrimp, crab all fresh and delicious. Appreciate manager Blake stopping by to ensure our evening was up to par. Already looking forward to our next visit. It's also a great idea to stop at the bar for after dinner drinks. Chris made everything we ordered perfect!“

The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

The coal fired tacos were amazing. Lobster and shrimp with an avocado habenero salsa. This was probably my favorite small plate. We also go the cooked oysters. They were good too and the main dish we did was the short rib which was extremely tender and the pairing with mashed cauliflower prevented "the itis" from kicking in from a heavy meal. I tried the charred pineapple plantation rum cocktail (I cant remember the name of it) and it was like a beach vacation in a glass. It gave Pina colada flavors and was too easy to drink. Can't wait to come back and try some other dishes!“

“My friend and I stumbled upon this spot because we were vending at a space across the street from them. The venue we were at didn’t have chairs for people, so I came to Mariscos’ to ask if we could borrow some chairs, and buy lunch. Right away Mary, one of the servers, translated my request and was able to get me 2 chairs. Mary is incredibly kind really made my day! We ordered 2 tacos with rice and crab salad, as well as 2 horchatas for lunch.

I waited over a half hour just in the valet line, and that was after I was able to maneuver around the crowded streets to get into the valet line. Maybe don't drive.“

We had Angela as our server and it was one of the best services we've received. She was knowledgeable and attentive. Food didn't take too long to get to the table. Ambiance was great! Steak was the most important one obviously and it was cooked to perfection. We had the ribeye and the fillet. The Brussels sprouts were THE best I've ever had. Drinks were good with unique cocktail options. I had a small complaint about the oysters and they more than made up for it. We tried a few desserts. Panacotta was my favorite. We will be back.“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“
