“Today was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at an eating establishment. 1st, the gentleman who took my order, Robert, was so patient and polite. I had a big pain in the butt order and He wasn't bothered by it one bit and got my order right to the tee. Than the cashier in the drive through was very cheerful and nice, I've worked at many restaurants and no one actually enjoys the sales pitches the higher ups make you use but it all came natural when Alexis pitched it. Great big smile like she actually likes her job. Great customer service. To make it even better, I got home, food is hot, correct and delicious. Thank you Alexis and Robert!

I'm not sure what flavor they have.My grandson and they taste okay. You know, kids, he also ordered their gourmet fries, ranch dressing, cheese, and baconI ordered the fries, but without the bacon.We were both satisfied with our choices.But I must say I was a little taken by the restroom there. You walk in the male urinal to the left and a supposed to be private door for the use of women and kids. That door the lock didn't stay secure. There was no hand soap as well. I had my grandson stand by the door .So this is part of the reason for the 4-star rate.“

Not only do they have a wide variety for subs and add ons but they also sell hot dogs , italian beefs , burgers and pizza puffs as well as so many side options from fries to mac n cheese bites! Give it a try and you wont regret it! Super clean , very nice family people 10/10And at the end the nice gentleman gave my daughter a free lollipop! “Came here on Saturday. They made my Italian sub perfectly. I've had plenty of Jersey Mike's subs over the years. This was the first time the ingredients all made it onto the sandwich and were perfectly placed. Normally it looks like they apply the toppings with a shotgun. John was the worker that built what I called the absolute best Jersey Mike's sub I've ever had. Great job!“

“This is a great dining and go restaurant. There are so many different selections for pretty much anyone. They had gyros and sub sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken and salad. Lots to choose from. There is seating inside and plenty of parking easy to get in and off of the restaurant from route 45.“

“I make it a point to visit when Im in the area. I've been coming here for years. The sandwiches ? are good. This visit I did notice the bread was a little drier than usual. All in all, my king size roast beef was delicious. I will ask for more oil & vinegar.

Parking: It's going to be a tight fit. You'll be better off using the drive-thru, IMO. Intercom does NOT work. You have to order your food at the window.“

“Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

“I moved here from philly and have been looking for the closest thing to a hoagie you can get in Chicago. This is the closest I've come so far. I asked if the owner was from Philly and they said yes.My one critique is I asked for hot peeppers hoping for long hots and they put giardiniera, but that was partially my mistake.The rolls could be a bit better, they're very close to that philly/nj roll, and I would say closer than anything else I've found in chicago so far, but they're not quite the same yet.Other reviewers mentioned that they make the bread here in house. I asked if they did and they said no, so I'm not sure why the other reviewers said that.Overall a great hoagie in Chicago! Definitely recommend“

It's a pretty great place to get your grub on and yet the prices have gone up recently especially with meat and the taxes are much more than they were even with the nice atmosphere of a small simple restaurant if you want to pay a little more for your food then go for it they still make tasty sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs my personal favorite is the Polish with the submarine the only downside is I'll slow it takes for the order to come and the staffers don't really take sanitize a bit seriously that they don't wear that masks when preparing the food all in all who is delicious and yet not perfect!“
