“Amazing smoked beef brisket sandwich with fresh cut fries. Everything was was made fresh and served piping hot. The BBQ sauce is delicious... sweet, smoky and a tad spicy. The portions are large and well worth the money. If in the area again, I would definitely go back.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. Great food, great service, and a clean environment; you can’t ask for much more than that. Hands down a 10/10 experience. However, I want to specifically highlight a young man by the name of Dominick. I can’t say enough about Dominick. He possesses exemplary customer service skills. Every encounter I have had with him, he has been very courteous, very professional, very engaging and above all has gone the extra mile to accommodate my “special requests“. In addition, my most recent encounter, approximately two weeks ago, I could see the absolute joy he received when seeing how happy I was when he was, once again, able to Grant a special request for me. I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. “This is by far the best JJ Fish in the city of Chicago!! The food is consistently fresh, and the staff is welcoming. I also came in to place an order on Super Bowl. Although it was busy and wait times for some were longer than usual… the staff maintained professionalism and supported customers as quickly as possible. I’d recommend this location to anyone!“

“Visited from STL and this time the owner was there. Very chill laid back good time. This particular night they had karaoke, which was fun. The bartenders are friendly and know how to pour. Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. This spot is always on a list even if it’s a short visit. Stop by for a mature crowd and a good time.“

The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

“Up until now, I have never wanted to try frog legs until I tasted theirs. Took my Mom to lunch and tried one of hers which turned into a few and now I'm hooked. They were moist, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very fresh and well sized. Didnt too much care for the chicken wing zings. They were too salty although fresh and crispy. Also had the seafood salad which was good. Been back again for the frog legs. FYI it is CASH ONLY. Great customer service which was a plus for me. So I didn't mind coming back considering I live no where near the restaurant.“
