“Today CheSa was in my building The Franklin downtown and of course I had to support my own! I got the 4 cheese Mac/jerk chicken bowl. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. Chicken was tender. Only issue is the juice from the chicken made the Mac and Cheese runny at the bottom“

“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

We had curry with rice, drunken noodles, and two orders of “chef’s gone crazy”—the chef cooked whatever he wanted for us and they were both pleasant surprises! Everything was delicious, and I have to say that their 3/5 spice level is a pretty solid 3/5. You could definitely taste the spiciness, but it wasn’t the main star of the show. We recently placed a catering order from Lucca for a big company luncheon. They just rolled out their catering menu, so we were one of the firsts to try it. And let me say - the food and service truly exceeded all expectations.

“Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Their thin crust meat lovers pizza is good. the crust has a slight crunch and is a bit doughy for thin crust.
Their classic cheese slice is great as well. The flavors all blend really well and is a well rounded classic cheese slice.
Their cheese fries are exactly what you would expect. It looks and tastes like they hand cut real potatoes and double fry them. The fires are soft and mushy, no crunch. The sauce is the same cheese sauce you would expect at any pizza place.

Because it was my birthday, we HAD to have dessert~ even though our bellies were full! Lots of dessert choices.... Thankfully, because I am not a tiramisu lover and that's usually what most other Italian restaurants offer! Our sever surprised me with a chocolate Dubai torte which really sounded good. We nibbled on it... It was crunchy and different; didn't love it, so we opted to add coffee and cannolis. Very nice firm shells, freshly made, and not too sweet... however, there were NO chocolate chips inside! I usually prefer mini chocolate chips on the outside ends, too, but definitely mini chocolate chips belong on the INSIDE of a cannoli~ for me! That would be my only complaint!
