“I went there craving for something sweet after 6 PM on Friday. Ordered a chocolate brioche, a coconut chocolate chip caramel cookie and a chocolate cookie. Everything seemed to be freshly baked, unexpectedly heavy, and full of filling, so it took the two of us three days to consume this good stuff. And I never had an issue with a lack of appetite.I personally prefer less sweet options, but these cookies are not as sweet as traditional American staples, and I appreciate that. If you want a cookie so packed with stuff it becomes a bit overpowering, the coconut one is a good choice. Not complaining though. It fed the two of us.Brioche was a bit too thick for my taste, but it was also good.The service that I experienced is what I assume to be typical for Chicago: slightly poker-faced and nonchalant but not rude or anything like that.I would give this bakery another try for the items that I haven’t eaten yet.“

Came here because of the reviews and I have to say, that was one of the best veg bowls I've had, period. I topped it off with the turkey meatballs which were awesome! I also did the tahini and green goddess dressing which was delish! One recommendation, I would have ordered the salmon but it looked dry and like it had been sitting there getting too much air. I would cover it preferably with a clear glass lid. The turkey meatballs were covered and sitting in some broth which kept them fresher. I was there right at closing, which accounts for the lonely salmon. I will be back this week and then some. “Fantastic steak restaurant in River North! It’s definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. The restaurant is beautiful with fun lighting and some of the best service I’ve had at a restaurant. We got recommendations from the waiter and tried the house made pasta as an appetizer, which was a fantastic choice! I got the filet mignon which was delicious and the Mac and cheese as a side. The steaks come without sides so make sure to order some sides which are definitely shareable portions. We got the crème brûlée for dessert and the staff brought up some fun cotton candy since we were celebrating. Overall, it was such a great experience for a special event!“

“Decided to drop in and order food after watching John Oliver’s piece on how Grubhub and others cut into the margins.I’m happy I dropped by because Vito was really helpful, provided some employee suggestions on sauces, which I would not have had through the apps.The service was quick, friendly, and portions were good. If most to go experiences were like this I could see myself dropping in to take out food more often instead of ordering through delivery apps.“

“This is a historic German restaurant in Chicago and specializes both in comfort food and comfort atmosphere. We visited here during Christmas time, and the whole place was decked. The children could play games while the adults enjoyed good food. I ordered an oxtail and tasted their steak, and both were delicious. We had a party of 20 and had our own room booked with our own Christmas tree.“

“I have found my favorite GLUTEN FREE DONUT! I highly recommend them for my gluten free peeps! The chocolate one is delicious too! The cinnamon one is good, just a little dry for my taste. I have ordered from here many times, to the point that they recognize me, and I have never had such consistently great service from every single worker at a restaurant like this.Being disabled means that sometimes I can only make myself eat one meal a day, and despite the fact that I've never shared that with any of the workers here, they ALWAYS make sure that the bowls I order are just about as full as possible. You will NOT feel skimped on your portion sizes here, and I cannot say how grateful I am to the workers who definitely don't know how much they've helped me.Vegetarian options: They have meatless mondays, which is basically just a free 20% off for vegetarians on mondays, and their vegetarian options are clearly labeled and plentiful.Dietary restrictions: They have options for just about every restriction, as their dishes are all gluten free (or at least most are) and their selection is highly customizable.Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly their location is not accessible, and I as an ambulatory user have to walk in to get my food.“

I debated about my dessert but opted for the berry cake which also was delicious. I had breaded pork tenderloin, sweet/sour sauerkraut and potato dumplings, soup plus the berry cake dessert. (Soup was not pictured since I already had eaten it). All was DELICIOUS I'm not a bread person except for fresh bread. The rye bread was so good that I hard time to stop eating it.“

Service was smooth and effective, the breakfast items were yummy and fresh!! The coffee of the coffee!! Strong yet tranquil!! Fresh drip is self serve!! Loved that! “we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you“

“Nothing Bundt Cake Orland Park was wonderful for my wedding two weeks ago and Joanne helped every step of the way! :) Not only did she ease my mind and made the process seamless, but she facilitated the set up at our venue which eased a lot of stress of myself and family. And for the price, we received more then enough bundtini's for our reception! I would 10/10 recommend for weddings, and even for just grabbing a bundt cake :)“

My cousin and I had very good service from the staff who was kind and attentive. I had a caesar salad with chicken and my cousin had the penne vodka Pasta. both portions were big and it would be appropriate to eat family style and order a bunch of plates to share. the individual prices of the food are okay to order by yourself, though. The food was good and came very quickly. I wish the lettuce was a little more crisp and I like when the croutons are crumbled into the salad instead of laid on top, but it was still a good salad. We didn't get any drinks or dessert but overall, it was nice.“

So, we took the 90 mi trip from Milwaukee to Chicago by train, walked about 2 miles in the rain (it's April so it was a very cold rain) to the one off of State and Roosevelt. We were waited on right away. After a 35 minute wait, food heaven landed on our table. When she cut the slices and plated them, the cheese stretched about 8 inches!!! That's how fresh their ingredients are!!! THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!!“

“My favorite healthy eating spot. Most other places have tons of hidden sugar and an enormous amounts of carbs. Washington & wells is the best protein bar! The staff here is the awesome. Joan makes my husband and I smile every morning - she seriously has the best personality. Chris always has our breakfast ready, always has a smile, and the manager Phil is just hysterical. I don't know anyone else's name but everyone in that store is great!“

I ordered on the app and got the Japanese bbq salmon bowl, and added some kale and tomatoes for some extra veggies. I wasn't sure what to expect from the portion or freshness of the salmon but was actually impressed by the size of the fish and the fullness of the bowl. The dressing on this bowl was fabulous and it was a well balanced and fresh meal. Full price this came out to about $16, so definitely one of their pricier bowls. “One of the best in Chicago. They have other desserts depending on the day such as cinnamon rolls, but the best are their donuts. “Went here for my birthday lunch. I had been hearing about the Parmesan crusted lamb chops. I also had the strawberry margarita and it was delicious and kinda strong. So the lamb chops was recommended to be cooked well. When they came out they were still pretty pink on the middle. I didn't send them back I just figured I'll put them in the airfryer when I get home. Well I wouldn't recommend that because they were cooked through by time I made it home but I don't feel like they worked up good. I will go try them again in the future. The cheesecake was amazing. “It is not a bad place to deliver a load. Arrived at 6 a.m.. Appointment However, it is a truck friendly place. If you are delivering a load, you will most likely have to back in on dock # 7, which is the end of the building. It is not too bad. If you have trucks in others docks, it is tight and could be a nightmare. Most people use blind-backing. You can also use driver side backing, but you have to maneuver quite a bit. Take your times. You will be alright so you can test your backing skills.“

“Food was great, had an egg and cheese crossaint, some spinach, avocado, mushroom, and cheese crepes, the house veggie burger, and crispy eggplant with polenta and goat cheese. The crepe came with only the cheese on the inside and other ingredients on top, and was more of a crispy rather than soft or spongy texture, so somewhat different than I had pictured but they were good. I'd order all of it again! Service was good and attentive. Food was a little slow to come out at times given that the place was pretty empty, but I wasn't in a hurry and was taking my own time, so I didn't mind that. Will definitely return!“

The bowl was delicious and a good lunch portion, however it needed more sauce as some parts of the bowl was dry. I got a medium spice level but could definitely go for hot next time as this didn't have any spice. It leaves you feeling full and healthy. Overall, I would go again and maybe try the rice noddles.“
