“This was our first trip to lil-rib-a-rib-a and we really enjoyed it! It’s in a great area in North River with many other Latin/Spanish themed restaurants. This is a Spanish Tapas style place so we ordered several plates to share. The shaved Brussel sprouts salad was delicious! We also enjoyed the garlic shrimp and the scallops dish too. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. Our server was also one of the bartenders and he was very attentive and personable - we recommend for sure!“

Everything about our experience at Oliver's was amazing and absolutely worth it. Here’s what stood out:

Drinks: The Oliver’s Martini is an absolute must-try – and trust me, upgrading to the caviar olives is a game changer. The Espresso Martini was another standout, and the Old Fashioned was perfectly crafted.

Food: Every bite was a delight. The bread and crispy artichokes were the perfect start. For mains, the scallops and burger were nothing short of top tier – flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely satisfying.

Dessert: We couldn’t resist diving into two options – the Key Lime Cheesecake and the Salted Caramel. Both were exceptional, and we’re already looking forward to trying more on our next visit.

“I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you’re getting in my opinion. I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you’re coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there’s a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it.“

We had to wait for our table so we ordered drinks at the bar. My mule was good and my date enjoyed her wine. For my entree, I ordered the Roasted chicken served of spinach and mash potatoes. The chicken could have used more seasoning, but overall it was good. My dates entree was the Spicy Chicken sandwich, she said it was good, but it really wasn’t spicy. The sides dishes we ordered are Creamed Spinach and Mac & cheese. We disliked both dishes. The Mac & Cheese needs way more cheese. I received complimentary dessert because we were there celebrating my birthday too. The carrot cake was ??? and the vanilla bean ice cream was good too.“

“Mariscos San Pedro has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The tuna tostada is amazing, definitely do the otoro upgrade. You can’t go wrong with any of the whole fish options, each are so flavorful and tender. The cocktails are really great and they have half priced bottles of wine on Mondays. I was hesitant but one of the chefs was explaining the Sonoran hot dog, and I️ couldn’t resist, it was amazing. They recently launched their brunch menu too and they have a lot of great selections and the pastries are incredible“

I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“

“Stopped in for dinner and beers with colleagues. Then sat in the bar area. We started with burrata and side dishes. Both were very delicious. I loved the pita bread and hummus on the appetizer plate. I will definitely get it again. Round two, we had fried chicken, croquettes and pizza. The chicken is super delicious. It was fried very well and the sweet sauce was great. I liked the pizza, although it was closer to flatbread because the crust was very flat and thin. Nice beer list. The cocktail list could be more impressive. Service is very friendly and attentive. Five stars!“
