“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

“I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.

It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.

I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).

The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.

If you’re in the mood for solid tacos that hit all the right notes, Taco Boom is 100% worth the stop. I already know I’ll be back.“

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very visibly took pride in the food they put out! Fresh and delicious and I probably could’ve eaten 6 of them. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! * It’s good. No crunch. Barely battered if any. Mayo sauce is delicious and spicy. I would try again
B) Taco de tripa
* They were the best I’ve had so far. The meat was tender with bite and they had no smell. Really good.
C) Taco de asada
* It’s okay. I do like them better from a different restaurant but for a nearby taco, I’d buy again.
D) Taco de carnitas
* it’s okay. I would do a little less cuerito but that’s personal preference. It was a very soft taco.
E) Taco pastor
* The meat is thin strips and it’s smoky. It’s a good pastor taco. Cuts are pretty even. I like that it’s not a bulky pastor. It would be 10x with a few pieces of pineapple was added. I think it’s missing it.
F) Taco de Cabeza
* It was soft and delicious. I will be ordering more of these. Good flavor as well.

“Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “Nice place to hangout and have a drink and watch sports. . A bit overpriced but its Fulton Market so its expected. Food isn't great. Ordered the steak nachos and the were burnt. They say it's chard but they were burnt and tasted awful. The steak was black and so were the ends of the chips. That plate shouldn't of left the kitchen but they covered it up with all the toppings. Service is always good & friendly. They work thier butt of because this place gets really busy. I keep going back because I like the atmosphere and service but rather eat somewhere else“

Grandma felt that the guacamole was too salty so the owner came out and apologized, made her a fresh batch to her liking AND removed it from the bill. Both food and service were top notch.
