The pizza is delicious, my husband and I think their pizza is some of the best pizza around. They have a large selection of salad options for lunch and portion sizes are great. I have never had a bad meal here. My husband and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month, usually for a late breakfast or early lunch on Sunday and have always had a great experience.“

Burrito stuffed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, and more—ordered mine without potato. Smoky, not too spicy—YUM! BBQ was tender and tasty but chunky and not stringy—how delightful! Fries are always great and I must order every time I go. Chili had nice chunks of succulent turkey—you could see and taste the turkey. This place never disappoints and gets better every time I go.“

“Really good but please if you go there just be aware the portions are insane. I’m not sure why any restaurant would have portions this large. The kids meals are like an adult meal and an adult meal would serve two adults. I just wish we had known that because we were visiting from out of town so could not bring home any leftovers. I felt absolutely terrible wasting so much food.“

“Normally I LOVE this place ... not tonight. 45 mins in the drive through to get a cold burger handed to me , minus my concrete. She said she would go back and get it. Waited 10 more minutes , went inside , the line is out the door . Asked for my concrete, they handed me a completely melted cup of custard .... I asked for my money back. They had plenty of help , but no organization . They were all running around doing 2 or 3 different things , not organized at all, The manger was no where to be found .. I was told she was in the bathroom. When she finally came out , she had an I do nit really care what your complaint is attitude . I got my money back and left ... normally the food is hot and fresh, it takes a bit , but I have never seen such a mess as tonight !“

“My daughter and I ate at First Watch on January 25,2024, the food was good as always. So as we were leaving I went to pay and my daughter and granddaughter went to the car, my comes in and say mama I locked the keys in the car and my granddaughter is in there. She called O’Fallon police and so did one of the staff did as well. The police community service worker came out and tried unlocking the door for about 20 minutes, remind you my granddaughter is in there and it’s cold and raining. Next thing I know almost the whole staff came out and tried everything they can do because they seen we were out there for a long time. I finally got ahold of my insurance company and they sent someone out and they was able to unlock my door finally. Big shout out to the staff at First Watch for all your help, my daughter and I really appreciate you all ❤️“

We were seated politely in the back area with lots of patio umbrellas on a nice deck porch.

We had lunch, but it looks like they have live music and a really great atmosphere for the evenings for anyone looking for a great place to chill with friends and a very relaxed atmosphere outdoors.

The bacon popcorn was really great. I had a chicken sandwich that was pretty good (maybe the chicken was a tiny dry) and my husband really loved his Cuban sandwich.

I would definitely try this place again on a Sunday afternoon

“My family went to Charlie’s Place last night for the first time. Everything was so good! Portions are a good size and we enjoyed the small-town bar atmosphere. We will be back for sure - it’s going to be one of our go-to’s for nights out!“

“The steak was so delicious and a decent size for the price. The steak didn't even need A-1 sauce. I did ask for my steak to be prepared Medium, instead my steak was uneven in temperature, to where part of the steak was medium and part of it was well-done. Food was fast. Waiter was nice and helped pick out that drink pictured. It was all great, I just wish the butter came out a little softer.“

“We are huge fans of their pizza, salads and wings. Today I veered from my usual and ordered a reuben sandwich. I had an outrageously fabulous Ruben on the Jersey shore many years ago that was totally amazing. Sybergs was easily right behind that! I ordered extra kraut. The corned beef was not tender, but I ordered extra kraut, which was tender and so flavorful. The corned beef and kraut were layered like a lasagna. The sauce pushed it all over the top! Mmm...look forward to ordering it again!“

Last night neither of us enjoyed what we ordered, our fault, we both went against what we were going to originally order….we ate it, it’s fine, you live and learn. Our waitress is what left a bad taste. It’s like she instantly had something in her head about us or we weren’t one of her regulars that she had to cater to as she was sitting, laughing and chatting with those around us. Not friendly, short answers and would set our drinks down after being told thank you and just walk away. The only time there was even a hint of friendliness is when it came time to pay.“

“We hadn’t been at Horseshoe for a number of years, but lately it seems to be one of our go to restaurants. Have only had to take back my food once (a rarity for me). The food, wait staff and jukebox is what brings us back. Was there today with my son who’s disabled. He hates getting out of the house, but loves the jukebox. (He likes singing to his favorite song (The Star Spangled Banner). The staff is attentive and a special shout out to Kim. We were celebrating a special weekend for me. Realizing that the chicken strips means chicken “nuggets” to him, made my day. (It’s the little things.)“

“My son and daughter in law’s wedding was May of 2022. I am not one to normally write a review but I find myself still thinking about the awesome food and service from Uncle Linny’s. We used them for both the rehearsal dinner and reception and could not have been more pleased. The carrot cake and Italian cakes are superb along with the dinner food that was chosen for both meals. Very nice to work with before and during events. Cleaned up well after dinners and had remaining food all together for take home. I would like to thank and highly recommend them! “I ordered online today and the food was ready quickly. Someone came out to my car as soon as I pulled up (receipt said kaydee I think). She was friendly and fast coming back with our order. Said they are always looking to improve and to let her know anything was wrong.

Food was all hot. My steak was cooked correctly and so was my husband’s burger. Their green beans were, surprisingly, so good and nicely seasoned. We got the 2 for $25, so we got the mozzarella sticks app. Also hot and plenty of marinara. A+ from this location today!“
