It's McDonald's not a steak house. What I ordered, is what I got. Parking lot is a bit small, but atleast the wifi seemed to cover all of said.“

“Travelled from New Jersey for a wedding in Belleville. We knew we wanted to try a local coffee shop while we were in town so we stopped into Longstory Coffee for it's great reviews and unique location in a renovated 1800's train depot. The atmosphere was incredible and the coffee was better. I ordered a pour over that was exceptional and my husband ordered the mocha. It was one of the best he's had. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Illinois. It was very reminiscent of the coffee we get over at the farmers market in New Jersey. “My daughter and I went to the Scooters location down the road from this one and had ordered 2 iced vanilla coffees, when we tried them, they must have been mixed wrong or had added something else because they tasted really funny, so bad that we couldn't even drink them. So we had pulled into this location to order new ones. We explained to the employee at the window what happened down the road and asked her if she could toss the other ones we just bought because they did not taste right. “My husband I I ate breakfast at Main Street Cafe. My husband had a cheese omelette, home fries and English muffin. I had 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. The cafe is old but clean, comfortable and the servers are attentive and friendly. “Update: I got in contact with the shift lead this morning. Her name is Augusta and she was extremely helpful. She felt really bad For what happened and will be telling the store manager. I wouldn’t let this one bad experience here deter me from coming back. Original Review: I placed a mobile order and got there around 6:40 pm. Posted hours on the store front say they are open till 9:30 pm. They had everything locked and a lot of pissed off people coming through the drive through. When I found the drive through window it was 7pm. They claimed they had the registers shut down and I said their hours on google maps said they were open till 7:30 and their posted hours on the store front clearly said 9:30 and she just simply said no. I will never return to this location. You close at your posted times. Period end of story. Oh and the person that opened the drive through window had a pieces of paper with Dunkin’ written on it taped over the Starbucks logo. Real classy.“

“First of all I love Starbucks! But for the last 2 days I've went to the Fairview Heights location to get my same drink. The caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, and for 2 days straight I've asked for light caramel drizzle because it's too sweet and extra crunch. It even says it on the label stuck to my drink, but yet it's covered in caramel and there's no extra crunch. And I know sometimes we become complacent because we're in a hurry we're making the same drink every day multiple times, but I usually have to get a spoon and scrape it out. I will even pay more next time I go, just to get what I ask for...“

Always a 5-star experience when I visit this location.

Today I tried the new Caramel Protein Matcha (hot, venti, served in my personal cup). I customized it by reducing the caramel syrup from four pumps to three and choosing sugar-free caramel — and it was made perfectly.

What stands out most to me is the consistent warmth. The staff acknowledge customers with eye contact and genuine smiles, no matter the time of day or how busy it is. That kind of attentiveness matters.

I experience it personally, and I see it extended to everyone who walks through the door.

That consistency is why I gladly return.

This store is located near Scott Air Force Base, OFallon, IL. They offer limited edition military merchandise.

I stopped by here for few hours and I really appreciated the baristas and how much they kept a positive attitude, despite being short staffed and getting through crowd rush hour. I ordered some food and hot beverage and all tasted good.

This store supports military big time. Although, they’re small on the inside with limited seating, they show love in a much bigger way. They accommodated each customer and made sure they were comfortable and completely satisfied.

When I visited the Starbucks HQ in Washington, I met a friendly front desk lady who shared with me that her and her spouse were both in military.
She also shared with me, “Starbucks focuses on hiring thousands of military personnel to help them keep their jobs, should they or their spouse have to be transferred to another location.“

“No matter where they are transferred for military purposes, Starbucks has their baristas back. They offer smooth transition into a new store for them. Making new friends is a bonus.”
