“We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. “The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! The waitresses are pros at keeping checks separate and remembering who ordered what dish. how the cook gets 20 separate dishes ready at the same time and quickly is amazing service! “I was told that Gerry’s Pizza is amazing. Well it really isn’t. We tried it yesterday for the first time. We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“
