“We celebrated my daughter's high school graduation there. We had 12 people total and the food was delicious, the drinks were on point, the service was exceptional, and the environment was amazing! They truly made our experience special, and my daughter said it was the perfect way to celebrate her big day! I would highly recommend celebrating any occasion, big or small, at Salamone's! They will treat you right! 🎉“

“We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. This is a restaurant we will truly miss being so close to the day we decide to move.“

“There are several good pizza recipes in Rockford but Gulotta’s pizza stands out among all others; not only in terms of authentic flavor and fresh ingredients but in heart and soul. There’s more to a good pizza pie than what’s on the surface. I was 14 when I first had the Gulotta pizza experience. I’ve lived in Chicago for 22 years, and eaten scores of pizzas from different restaurants. Gulotta’s been at it for 45 years and it’s continues to be top tier in my book. Thanks to Gulotta’s for their undeniable heart and soul and one of the best pizzas ever.“

“Was great our first time there. Celebrated my son’s 21st birthday tonight. Food and staff were amazing. They made my sons night. Will be cackling often and recommend going to anyone.“

“One of my favorite spots! The vibe inside is just the right mix of cozy and cool—like if your stylish friend with great taste in beer opened a pub. Their salads make me feel responsible, their burgers make me forget I was trying to be, and the fries? Let’s just say they disappear faster than my willpower. Add in great drinks, and it’s basically my happy place. Highly recommend!“

“The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! We come to Rockford for soccer a few times a year. We will be back for sure!“

“Big YES! I go there monthly with a group of, usually, 15 to 20 ladies. We get THE BEST service ever! The waitresses are pros at keeping checks separate and remembering who ordered what dish. how the cook gets 20 separate dishes ready at the same time and quickly is amazing service! All of that plus the food is DELICIOUS!! GREAT SERVICE UN A GREAT RESTAURANT!“

“I am not one to write reviews but I was very impressed with the service I received while visiting here! I am disabled and require the use of a service animal and the server and staff were amazing and even brought him out a bowl of fresh cold water with our waters! Our server, Ronald, was amazing and so respectful and accommodating:) The food was so good I wish I had been here sooner! I definitely plan on being back to try more of the menu especially now that I know how accepting and welcoming all of the staff are!! The atmosphere inside is very cozy and yet still casual and open for guests. “Great atmosphere and glad it was open later than many of the nearby restaurants. Service was great and food arrived in a reasonable time. The only reason I can’t give five stars for food is it is on the pricier side. We had the spicy feta dip and the asparagus and mushroom ravioli which were super yummy. 😋“

Desserts including Guinness cheesecake are delectable. English beer selections include greats such as Old Speckled Hen and Samuel Smiths brews as well. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Superlatives for Emily and Marcia! Love this 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 pub!“
