“Beware of the horrible smelling homeless dude that loiters in the doorway as you enter. They claimed they called police but nothing was done. This man smells aweful! When I was homeless, you couldn’t even tell!

“This McDonald's has been a staple of my child's like there seems to be always a young group of people working the shop and I think it's an okay and gray to the same time. I've gone to seeing some of my classmates to growing up and sing some of prior classmates working there and now a whole new generation and I think this McDonald's does have its small inconveniences such as the amount of elder gentlemen that stood there almost everyday in a group which then again seems to be a community Bond experience. The only other thing is the unpleasant homelessness issue that is affecting South Chicago that causes them to be placed right next to the McDonald's lowering the image of the shop itself but then again partisan opinion. It is a great location and to grab the atmosphere when everything is good“

“Went during lunch, used the app. There must have been 50 school age kids inside, not ordering. The manager was polite, yet firm to the kids to get them to leave. As I was stuck in the back and couldn't make it to the pick up window, she noticed my struggle and asked my number, which she personally brought to me. Great customer service in frantic lunch hour setting! Thank you!“

“I ordered through uber eats and had issues with my order. Shoutout to the gentleman there named Omar he was able to assist me with my order. Drive through staff are also nice as well atleast the ones who chat it up. This one latino dude is cool and one darker tone chick is a sweetheart and the older Latina chicks give me Tia vibes they are nice. Haven't had any issues going through drive through, I can't say much about going inside to order since I don't enter really. . Only issues is sometimes when I order uber eats with missing items.“

“Had a mad craving for a McChicken after my buddy pulled up to the climbing gym with one. I hit the drive through where the service was courteous and quick and the food hit the spot. That's all you could ever ask for. The McChicken/McDouble meal deal is one of the last really good values in fast food.“

“I had a great experience at this McDonalds. I've went with some friends during the rush hours. We were lucky enough to get a table. We have made quite a big order. The food was ready very fast. The fries were crisp, hot and salty, exactly how you expect them to be. The food was fresh. Even if it was rush hour, the staff was friendly, the cleaning personal was taking care of the tables the moment they were empty, so the restaurant was clean.“

“The night shift employee i believe is a manager (is always wearing gray shirt) is very kind and patient. around midnight i always see 10 plus cars in the drive thru and this man working by himself taking orders and running to make the food. he always has a kind personality regardless of how busy it is. this employee is clearly overworked and the store is short staffed. please hire more people and give this gentleman a break!“

“I don't usually rate fast food restaurants like McDonald's, but today the service of this establishment blew me away. I stopped by to get a quick bite of breakfast ordering an egg biscuit and a big breakfast. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by an employee. She went and got my order while I was looking for a table. The employee also got me a cup of hot water and some napkins. She was the most pleasant McDonald employee I have met. While eating my breakfast, I noticed 2 men dressed in suits standing in the dining area chatting with another McDonald employee. This leads me to believe that corporate office must be here to check on this restaurant thus the extra service. Regardless, I truly enjoyed the extra service offered by this establishment. If McDonald were trying to do something new like what I have experienced today, I submit that the trial service was great and well received.“

Listen. It’s a nice clean place with good potential. There’s just one factors that make it ehhh

1. The people who eat here. Almost every time I come here there are teenagers who can’t even clean up after themselves. They always trash the place. :/

But don’t get me wrong the employees are super kind. The manager has lots of energy and is very jolly. The employees are also kind about cleaning.

Anyways I would definitely come here again.

(P.S the Krispy Kreme donuts are a bit stale)

“I go for lunch in the early afternoon when I go here, and man is it busy every time! Despite that, the staff work hard to get orders out fast and hot. The place is clean and the bathrooms are well maintained for being in such a high-traffic area. All of these factors remain consistent in my many trips for lunch.“

“I had a very positive experience at McDonald’s on Lake Street. I was out around 3 AM and had tried multiple different places just looking for a bathroom, but everywhere else I tried either had their bathrooms closed or unavailable.

Thankfully, this McDonald’s actually had a bathroom available at 3 AM. It was the only place I could find that did, and I really appreciated being able to stop here when I needed one. Very thankful this location was open and had its restroom available so late at night.“

“Their ice cream machine is never broken. They have an amazing play place, which is very hard to find nowadays at McDonald’s not to mention. It’s extremely secure and clean is always friendly. I go to this place daily.

Vegetarian options: Pretty obvious if you’re a vegetarian, don’t go to McDonald’s

Parking: Huge parking lot definitely more than you’ll ever need. Don’t have to worry about.

Kid-friendliness: They have an entire kids menu with a toy

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this place is wheelchair accessible.“

“I was in the area with family. stopped in to have a late lunch. clean lobby and prompt service. drive thru was busy, but food was made correctly, fresh and only took less then 5 minutes to get. which is faster then where I'm from.
only downside was the price, but that's the Chicago area for you, the government always get their cut.

“Their new Big Arch is fire. Loved the two quarter pound patties, white cheddar, chopped and crispy onions, pickles, with a signature sauce. Everything worked well together and the burger was massive.

Parking at this location is a nightmare. There is no parking lot or drive-thru. Even if you park on the street and put your flashers on, you’ve got a good chance of coming out to a ticket on your windshield. Parking enforcement is savage and got me when I ran in for 2 minutes to pickup a to go order.“

“I can’t hear once a week for a large coffee on my way to the office. I have to say every morning the staff is friendly and the coffee is Hot. I appreciate that they ask me if I want anything like cream or sugar and not just give me the black coffee. I’m usually in and out within five minutes. I have personally found this restaurant to be clean. Last week I ordered the big breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the portions and it did taste fresh. This was the first time I had ever ordered this from the menu very good experience, which is unlike some of the other McDonalds I’ve been to.“

“This McDonald's, located on Cicero near the Chicago Midway Airport. Always above and beyond on cleanliness, speed of service and food flavor and texture. This location should be used as a benchmark, for superior service for other McDonald's locations.“

“This has to be one of the most well-run McDonald's in the US that I've been to. I visited for dine in lunch today and the restaurant won me over in every performance metric.

Specifically, I worked in McDonald's during the 1980s when each restaurant was rated based on four major performance metrics: Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value. This McDonald's delivered all four today.

In terms of of quality, the sandwiches were made neatly and well presented. The patty was in the middle of the bun and the amount of dressing and vegetables spilling off the perimeter were just right. In fact, the sandwiches actually look like the pictures.

In terms of service, I sat down and ordered from the app three separate times. The team member who delivered the food did it with a smile every time.

In terms of Cleanliness, the dining area and the bathroom were both spotless.

In terms of Value, it's McDonald's, the value is always good.

“For a McDonald’s it’s awesome. What’s really cool is that they haven’t jacked the prices up sky high at this location. You can still get a 2 cheeseburger meal for under $7 here which is unheard of anywhere else in this city (or really anywhere nowadays). I really appreciate that the franchise owner isn’t screwing everyone with pricing. Food always comes out hot and fresh, fries have never been soggy. Staff clearly take pride in their work here and I really respect that.

I live in Lakeview but when I want some McDonald’s, I hop on the brown line and ride it 30 minutes to get out here just to support this specific franchise. They seem to want to provide a good experience rather than just extract as much money from me as they possibly can like every other McDonald’s I’ve been to in the past few years.

Dining room is clean, bathrooms are clean. There are definitely some homeless people that hang around, but they’re very polite and keep to themselves. I respect that the staff treats them like people and seems to let them hang out in the lobby with a soda for a bit (provided they don’t cause a disturbance) rather than degrading them and treating them like pests. Love, compassion, and grace are powerful tools.“

“This is a nice McDonalds. It is quick, easy food, and the workers here are among the nicest that I've encountered in fast food. The drive-thru is never too crowded even though it is located on busy Foster Ave. My family and I stop here for breakfast each time we are in Chicago for the day.

Parking: There is a free but small parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: I think this is a good place to stop as a family with kids for a quick meal either on the go or to sit down.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility and seating available.“

“I came here this morning, which I never do even though I'm always by it, and service was impeccable. Luis, the manager I'm assuming, was very friendly, very hospitable, and very efficient. The food was fresh and was served to me quickly. The coffee was great not too strong or too hot. Very rarely do I have good experiences with McDonald's but this time definitely set the bar for my future visits. The restaurant itself was very clean including the bathroom. I will definitely be going back if Luis is working.“

“Right now, my favorite McDonald's location. I have only experienced employees here to be much more polite, helpful, and pleasant. Compared to other locations, they seem to know what they are doing, take their job seriously, and care for the customers. “Ordered a 1l4# cheeseburger w bacon added lettuce n tomato no mustard or ketchup and few other side items. What I got was a 1/4 cheeseburger no bacon, no onions and no pickles. After walking home in rain, called repeatedly, they never answered. Went back next day and they replaced it. I'm a regular...sadly, but glad she didn't question me but filled order properly. Mostly good experiences here but at times it seems a language barrier causes issues. Hence 5* service because mgrs will step up for honest regulars. If you get a special order always check. “I love this spot, it's always so interesting. Sometimes you get funny drunks that sing and twerk because it's their birthday, other times you get screaming people that argue about... who knows what. But I think the best part is the guy who comes with his headphones and jams out in the lot with a couple of cold ones. Worst part is that one guy who nods his head for no reason. “The service here could definitely use some improvement 😅 it’s not always as fast or attentive as you’d hope when grabbing a quick bite. That said, compared to other nearby options, this is still probably the best McDonald’s within about a 3-mile radius 🍟🍔.

There are actually several other locations in the area — at least four more, just for reference - but this one still stands out overall 👍. Even with the service not being perfect, the food quality and consistency seem a bit better than the others, which makes a difference.

Rare these days to encounter a good McDonalds and I’m by no means a connoisseur but somehow this particular mcdonald’s in O’hare makes a meal that kind of feels like the first time you ever had it as a kid. A delightful treat. Super crispy diet coke too. Give Filet o fish a chance and watch your life improve. Let the malice in your heart for United Airlines melt as you snag another fry or mcnugget.“

They’d make me wait before I place my orden and when I placed my order I’d have to repeat my order more than once, then they’d just make me pull up to the first window, thank God they have my order right, but when I’d get to the second window, they’d want me to pull out and wait for my order and I’d refuse to do it, so when the girl commented this to the manager they’d start to laugh of loud than I’d can hear then even with the closing window and they’d forget to pack butter for my pancakes, what an unprofessional attitude 😡“
