“This McDonald’s really stands out from the typical fast food experience. While the menu is what you would expect, the atmosphere is on a completely different level. The space is bright, open, and filled with natural sunlight, creating a surprisingly relaxing environment that made me want to stay and enjoy my meal instead of rushing out.

One of the highlights is the beautiful greenery throughout the restaurant. Whether the plants are real or not, they are incredibly well maintained and add so much character to the space. Combined with the great views and peaceful setting, it made for one of the most enjoyable McDonald’s visits I have ever had. I am so glad I decided to dine inside rather than go through the drive thru.“

“I recently stopped by and ordered a Big Mac, large fries, and an Oreo McFlurry, and overall it was a solid experience. The Big Mac was warm and well-assembled with a good balance of sauce and toppings, though one patty felt slightly thinner than usual. The fries were fresh and nicely salted, but a few at the bottom were a little soft. The Oreo McFlurry was thick, creamy, and generously mixed with cookie pieces, which definitely saved the day. The location itself is spacious and modern, but it gets pretty busy and loud, especially during peak hours, so it is not the most relaxing spot to dine in. Service was fast and my order was accurate, although the interaction felt a bit rushed. Overall, I would give it a 4 out of 5. It is a dependable downtown stop for classic McDonald’s favorites, with just minor inconsistencies that keep it from being perfect.“

“Beware of the horrible smelling homeless dude that loiters in the doorway as you enter. They claimed they called police but nothing was done. This man smells aweful! When I was homeless, you couldn’t even tell!

This is my go to location. I like how they bring the food to the table. Yesenia is the best!

The best thing about this location is the music that they play. And there’s never a long line.“

“Last week, I left a case containing several sets of headphones, including a really valuable cordless pair.
There were at least 3-4 places around town that I might have left the case, and I’d stopped at several of them already today, with no luck.
I was highly doubtful — even if this was the place I’d left it — that the staff would have the efficiency and customer service mindset to have a dedicated Lost and Found or to spend the time looking for it on behalf of a random stranger like me.
However, Nicolas at the cash register was friendly and professional and promptly went to the back to check for it, and came back with the case — all headphones included — in less than a minute! What a champ 🌟

“Went during lunch, used the app. There must have been 50 school age kids inside, not ordering. The manager was polite, yet firm to the kids to get them to leave. As I was stuck in the back and couldn't make it to the pick up window, she noticed my struggle and asked my number, which she personally brought to me. Great customer service in frantic lunch hour setting! Thank you!“

“Everything's fine ... Except for the sauce. Y'all never give me the number of sauces I ordered, and the app does make you pay for them. Now you may be thinking, "now this guy doesn't need all those sauces, it's not a big deal" but let me ask you this, what if I have a little sauce addiction and I'm too ashamed to ask for all that sauce in person so I go in the app and I order my little sauces and then they don't come :(

“I don't usually rate fast food restaurants like McDonald's, but today the service of this establishment blew me away. I stopped by to get a quick bite of breakfast ordering an egg biscuit and a big breakfast. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by an employee. She went and got my order while I was looking for a table. The employee also got me a cup of hot water and some napkins. She was the most pleasant McDonald employee I have met. While eating my breakfast, I noticed 2 men dressed in suits standing in the dining area chatting with another McDonald employee. This leads me to believe that corporate office must be here to check on this restaurant thus the extra service. Regardless, I truly enjoyed the extra service offered by this establishment. If McDonald were trying to do something new like what I have experienced today, I submit that the trial service was great and well received.“

“We were traveling from Michigan, and it was surprising to find a fast food place with parking in the busy city of Chicago. The food was hot and fresh, far better than our local McD's. The downside was that the restaurant was very cold, so we chose to sit in our car. Normally, I wouldn't rate a fast food place, as they are generally pretty similar. “This is the most hidden McDonald's I have ever been to in the United States. It took me a long time to find it and so that it doesn't happen to you, I am attaching an image of the building that you must enter through a revolving door, go up an escalator and there it is.“

small fry, U order medium Get a small in a medium container. If you order a large, get a large container with medium fries. They charge almost $5 for a large fry, which only contains one and a 1/2 to 2 potatoes. Which costs them about 25 cents“

“Their new Big Arch is fire. Loved the two quarter pound patties, white cheddar, chopped and crispy onions, pickles, with a signature sauce. Everything worked well together and the burger was massive.

Parking at this location is a nightmare. There is no parking lot or drive-thru. Even if you park on the street and put your flashers on, you’ve got a good chance of coming out to a ticket on your windshield. Parking enforcement is savage and got me when I ran in for 2 minutes to pickup a to go order.“

Parking: Huge parking lot definitely more than you’ll ever need. Don’t have to worry about.

“This is a nice McDonalds. It is quick, easy food, and the workers here are among the nicest that I've encountered in fast food. The drive-thru is never too crowded even though it is located on busy Foster Ave. My family and I stop here for breakfast each time we are in Chicago for the day.

Parking: There is a free but small parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: I think this is a good place to stop as a family with kids for a quick meal either on the go or to sit down.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility and seating available.“

“For a McDonald’s it’s awesome. What’s really cool is that they haven’t jacked the prices up sky high at this location. You can still get a 2 cheeseburger meal for under $7 here which is unheard of anywhere else in this city (or really anywhere nowadays). I really appreciate that the franchise owner isn’t screwing everyone with pricing. Food always comes out hot and fresh, fries have never been soggy. Staff clearly take pride in their work here and I really respect that.

I live in Lakeview but when I want some McDonald’s, I hop on the brown line and ride it 30 minutes to get out here just to support this specific franchise. They seem to want to provide a good experience rather than just extract as much money from me as they possibly can like every other McDonald’s I’ve been to in the past few years.

Dining room is clean, bathrooms are clean. There are definitely some homeless people that hang around, but they’re very polite and keep to themselves. I respect that the staff treats them like people and seems to let them hang out in the lobby with a soda for a bit (provided they don’t cause a disturbance) rather than degrading them and treating them like pests. Love, compassion, and grace are powerful tools.“

I didn’t get the male name, but he was working front counter and he was great. Beautiful cheerful attitude greeted every customer as they came in. He took orders and prepared orders on his own on that front counter ( he even prepared uber orders). I’ve worked at McDonald’s for 12 years before and I worked the mornings and no one will ever understand how hard that morning is with making those coffees and getting the food. Being able to keep a blessed attitude and work with speed is a difficult job, I must say that young man handled it very well. He was kind, he was pleasant and He was helpful. Just being a former worker of McDonald’s, I had to come on here and leave him a good review because he definitely deserved it.

The atmosphere score was low because the woman’s restroom was disgusting and drug users in the lobby nodding off and Drooling all over the table.“

“This has to be one of the most well-run McDonald's in the US that I've been to. I visited for dine in lunch today and the restaurant won me over in every performance metric.

Specifically, I worked in McDonald's during the 1980s when each restaurant was rated based on four major performance metrics: Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value. This McDonald's delivered all four today.

In terms of of quality, the sandwiches were made neatly and well presented. The patty was in the middle of the bun and the amount of dressing and vegetables spilling off the perimeter were just right. In fact, the sandwiches actually look like the pictures.

In terms of service, I sat down and ordered from the app three separate times. The team member who delivered the food did it with a smile every time.

In terms of Cleanliness, the dining area and the bathroom were both spotless.

In terms of Value, it's McDonald's, the value is always good.

They’d make me wait before I place my orden and when I placed my order I’d have to repeat my order more than once, then they’d just make me pull up to the first window, thank God they have my order right, but when I’d get to the second window, they’d want me to pull out and wait for my order and I’d refuse to do it, so when the girl commented this to the manager they’d start to laugh of loud than I’d can hear then even with the closing window and they’d forget to pack butter for my pancakes, what an unprofessional attitude 😡“

Rare these days to encounter a good McDonalds and I’m by no means a connoisseur but somehow this particular mcdonald’s in O’hare makes a meal that kind of feels like the first time you ever had it as a kid.
