“This is a small neighborhood restaurant with excellent service and food. There is a nice selection of sandwiches. The daily specials which usually include a homemade soup with fresh bread are delicious and priced very economically. They also have homemade breads and deserts, all of which are very good.“

“Ordered the vegan BBQ pork banh mi. The "pork" was moist, had a really good texture and flavor. Overall well balanced sandwich. I would like to come back and try the other flavors.

Note that there isn't a place to sit down and eat. Only take out.

“I used DoorDash to have sandwiches delivered to family in Chicago. I’m currently in South Carolina. I needed to have the vinegar and oil separate, not on sandwiches. There is no option on the DoorDash ordering app for this request. I decided to directly reach out to the Jersey Mike's store on Fullerton to request my delivery order. I spoke with someone who could not have been nicer and more accommodating to my request. He stated that he’s got me on the request. When delivery was made, the store employee did have my back on separate vinegar and oil containers. This store does not offer packets like some sandwich shops, but it did not stop this employee from satisfying a request from the customer. Thank you for going the extra mile for my request. I will be spending my money at this Jersey Mike's location for all future orders, which are frequent. It’s the small things that people do that are the most profound.“

“We had Cafe 53 cater our entire wedding and the food was phenomenal! Our guests can’t stop talking about the smoked brisket to this day. Jess and her team are amazing to work with and their communication through out the entire process was great. While they have a standard catering menu, they are willing to make whatever you want and cater to your dietary needs. We had a bbq/comfort food style menu and it was a hit. The staff was on time with their services and were on top of it the entire time. The cost was a great price as well which is always a bonus. So thankful that we went with Jess and Cafe 53 for our big day!“

“Been going to this place since I was in grammar school. Even though its in a new building next to the old one cause it burned down. I give this place 10 stars. The food is outstanding. The steak hot and steak sweet sandwiches and hoagie n fries with sauce on them are thee best. They also have the old school cookies n ice cream. Yummy so good. Its 2022 and still continue to go from 1979 to now. This place is worth the trip. People who grew up on this and have moved out of town still come right back to the Hoagy shop and buy extra to take with them to go outta town and take on there travels. “I really liked service here. Was surprisingly disappointed to see that the chicken soup didn’t have chicken meat. The soup itself was delicious. However The stores in UK and France have chicken meat in the soup. Frankly I feel cheated. I got a chicken sandwich and the bread didn’t taste or smell fresh.“

The staff is really welcoming, kind, and easy to chat with. The location near the museum and Promontory Point is so convenient. It was a gorgeous day so we took our order to go to eat at the park. Our sandwiches were super fresh and delicious. If I were a local I’d definitely be a regular at Unbeatable! I hope to return if I’m ever back in the neighborhood.“

“Recently I’ve had the privilege of not only meeting the owner of this establishment but also trying their meatball sandwiches, which is one of their top sellers. First bite, you can tell immediately that this was made with a lot of love and care. It legit felt like a hug from my grandmother every bite. Every part of this sandwich, from the bread to the sauce, and even the meatballs, you can tell that no shortcuts were taken. It’s clearly an artisanal sandwich. By far one of the best meatball sandwiches I’ve had. Even talking with the owner you can tell that he’s proud of his product. His food speaks for itself. Can’t wait to try what else this place has to offer. Keep it up guys!“

“I placed my order online ahead of time and went to pick it up in person. The woman at the counter was very helpful, my order was ready on time, and my sandwich was really good. I’m only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I asked for no sauerkraut (and the woman at the counter reiterated that when confirming my order), yet there was sauerkraut all over my sandwich when I unwrapped it. I will order from here again, hopefully that was just a fluke.“

“Given they have an outdoor area, it really compensates for the small, crammed area indoors. This is more like a place you walk in, order, and leave. But because they have outdoor area, again, it compensates for the indoor area.
The food is almost as good as Fontanos Subs.

I did ask for mayo, and they added mayo.
That was a mistake on my part. It tasted like there was too much mayo.

As soon as you order a cold sandwich, it would be ready in about 2 minutes. This is much quicker than any fast food restaurants I have been to.
I would recommend this over any other fast food restaurants.
It is cheap as well. I believe I payed $12 for the sandwich itself. Only half of it I was able to eat and the other half, I had either finish it, throw it out, or save it for later and hope it doesn't spoil (I was not around a fridge at the time).

Giardia spicy, is really not spicy. It's more mild than spicy. You will feel the taste of it later in the day though.“
