We played multiple different games and really enjoyed tic tac toe. The fun part about that is you can steal your opponents spot. So if they have an X in a spot, and you hit it, it goes blank. “A wonderful establishment! The new cook, Mark, is definitely on the ball. The food was cooked made to order, accurately dressed, quality and quantity was two thumbs up. The atmosphere is quietly pleasant yet enough pep to get the spirits going. It is a good place to gather with friends and family or just a quiet evening out solo or with a significant other. This establishment is kid friendly, but most adults choose family time here during the day or dinner. The evenings are most enjoyable being in a non discriminate establishment with a variety of positive kind folks. The staff are extremely catering to each individual wants and they are very patient, respectful, and kind. The staff practice universal precautions in sanitation throughout the hours of their shift. This is a family friendly, stranger friendly, everybody friendly environment. What tops this place off is the most affordable prices from the alcoholic beverages to the appetizers and main dishes. “We were driving around downtown Alton with our moms and stopped in for a drink—what a spot! The inside of the bar has all the things—huge and beautiful wood bar, tables aplenty, TVs playing all the sports all games, slots, and the best part of all: Ricky the bartender, who welcomes everyone regardless of who they are with a warm smile and story after story to make you feel like you are at home. This chance encounter ended up being a highlight of our weekend trip to Grafton. Definitely check this bar out; you’ll be glad you did!“

“I love that this place has karaoke and that fact had an impact on my decision to move to this area. The drinks are standard, the menu is straight up and the staff are wonderful. I cannot comment on the food as of yet because I haven't had the pleasure of eating here. “Excellent dive bar. I discovered, Town Club on Facebook and started following them. They really caught my attention by posting their daily food specials. Double Cheeseburger with Crinkle Fries and Bubba's Taco's were two that really tempted me for my first visit. I went for lunch with plans of ordering the daily special, Bubba's Tacos. However, once I got there, read the menu and chatted with the bartender, I ordered the G-Man. G-Man, is a 1/2 pound, hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. It was huge. I trimmed it down to just a little bit bigger than bun size, so I could pick it up to eat. The breading was a crisp thin coating, that had just the right amount of seasoning. It came with a side of crinkle fries, which are my favorite style of fries.I am a big fan of ketchup being served in little cups. For me it is more sanitary then having a bottle sitting on the bar or table. I requested just a smear of mayo on my sandwich. To make sure I had the right amount, the chef gave me a packet, so I had control. He even came to me and asked if it was enough, or if I needed another. Which I didn't, one was perfect. The customer service from the bartender and chef was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a true old fashioned neighborhood dive bar. It was extremely clean and inviting. Now that I have experienced, Town Club it may become one of my go to spots for lunch.“

“We stopped by for a drink after dinner. First impression was an overwhelming smell of smoke. Apparently the room in the back is a smoking lounge and of course the smell leaks out into the main area. We got used to it pretty quickly. It's not nearly as bad as bars used to be. The bartender was great. Drinks were cheap and not too watered down like a lot of places. The music was at a comfortable level. We all enjoyed it and will stop by again if we are out that way.“

“Mick is always good to visit with and on his word. Josh is a true brother and the pool table is the best in town. If you don't find anything you like about the place you should go ahead on and find somewhere else to be. Bar keeps always courteous and honest. Cheers Riverside.
