“A beautiful, genuinely French bakery on Central street in Wilmette, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in this charming, bustling area. I've been to France, and this is the real thing. I love getting a pastry and an espresso and sitting in the shade at the bistro tables right in front of the shop. Highly recommended!“

They also suggested making the two types of cakes different so that the servers would have a visual distinction between GF and regular. “I recently visited this spot and tried the Nova Lox Bagel. While the bagel itself was fresh and well-toasted, the salmon was a letdown. Nova lox is typically known for being less salty than regular smoked salmon, but in this case, it was overly salty and overwhelmed the other flavors. The toppings, like cream cheese, capers, and onions, were well-balanced, but the saltiness of the salmon really detracted from the overall experience.

I also decided to try the apricot cookie, but that turned out to be a mistake. I was surprised to learn it cost nearly $5—far more than I expected for a single cookie. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; it was so unpalatable that I couldn’t even finish it. The texture was dense and off-putting, and the apricot flavor was barely there. It felt like a waste of money, and I left feeling dissatisfied.

The prices were reasonable for the bagel, but the quality didn’t fully match my expectations. As for the cookie, it was overpriced and not worth trying again. Overall, a mixed experience—there’s potential, but the execution fell short.“

I'm finally rating crumble 4 stars because crumble has come out with mini versions of their cookies weekly too. The app is amazing as well because you can accru points for freebies. Sometimes, the cookies can be to raw for my taste at this location or there not enough sauces or toppings, but it just depends on the flavor and batch.“

“I have never had their treats here due to sensitive teeth but my review will be on the customer service I receive. I deliver for Uber eats and every time I come into Molly’s to pick up a order I’m always greeted by the most nice kind hearted staff. You can tell they are the most genuine people. I always leave super happy because of how nice they are. All of the treats in this store look very tasty and I most definitely recommend this location any time I can.“

Being a diabetic, I'm trying to stay below 15 gms of carbs per slice. Those pan-style breads (Pepperidge Farms) have too much added sugar and are 22-27 gms per slice!!“

“I tried the honey lavender matcha latte, and it was very delicious. I'm a huge matcha girly, and the amount/flavor of matcha did not disappoint- it was a dark green but still was very creamy. It was understandably sweet, which wasn't to my taste, but I did love the honey and lavender flavoring. I ordered a hot drink because the mall is cold, and the temperature is perfect- hot but not enough to burn my taste buds. Now I can comfortably sit down and study. The only thing is that it's very open to the mall (like, it's giving open floor design) so there's something weirdos walking by and being rowdy. It's not really a cozy café, but it's still very aesthetic and sleek (like all TLJ's).“

The bakery called me back promptly as I was sitting at the airport in Boston, I sent over a picture of the unicorn cake I envisioned, and they had it ready along with 2 dozen cupcakes that day!
