Bakeries near Lake Forest

“long time fan! Everything about this bakery is awesome!“

“Blissful Brownies are nothing short of perfection. From the very first bite, you’re met with an incredibly rich chocolate flavor that melts in your mouth, balanced by a perfectly crisp top layer that adds just the right amount of texture. The fudgy center is dense yet smooth, delivering the kind of indulgence that only a truly well-crafted brownie can provide.

Each brownie tastes like it was made with the finest ingredients—real butter, high-quality cocoa, and just the right touch of sweetness. There’s no artificial aftertaste, no overwhelming sugar rush—just pure, chocolatey bliss. Whether enjoyed on their own, paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or dunked into a cold glass of milk, they never fail to satisfy.

Blissful Brownies live up to their name in every possible way. They’re rich but not overpowering, sweet but balanced, and the kind of treat that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite. If you’re looking for the perfect brownie, this is it.“

“My experience was great! During these challenging times, there was a minor situation that was out of their control. I called the Auntie Anne's the next day and spoke to Megan the acting/assistant manager. Megan listened to my concern and welcomed me to come back and have my order fulfilled properly. She also added free items to make sure I was satisfied. Megan was very relatable and it was a breath of fresh air to have a great discussion with her. I can't wait to come back to this location which is in a food court of lots of other fast food options and gas station!“

“Everyone keeps talking about the cakes but everyone has been missing out on the absolutely 5 star cookies! We were able to try these at work, thanks to the absolutely wonderful donation of their products to help share with the community on Friday’s and for this we are so grateful and want to wish you good luck because the taste is wonderful!“

“I have never had a take my breath away experience until indulging in these cookies. I wanted to motorboat the apple pie featured last week lol. Truly a great oral experience. I kinda don’t want to share how great your cookies and keep it my secret lol.“

“The bread is out of this world. My personal favorite is the seeded. The pastries are also very good. What a treasure.“

“Ok....so, fun fact...i love pastries....love em. And this place does not disappoint. It actually doesnt matter what you get here. Yeah, I said that. If you like sourdough bread, you should pre order one for the weekend. So good.
You can taste the care and dedication that they put into making everything. They're proud. And they should be.
The woman who helped me. She had a literal twinkle in her eye as she talked about her favorite pastry. You have bought yourself a lifelong customer.
Thank you.“

“It gets packed on the weekends, in the early morning but who doesn't like fresh bread! The only dislike I have is the bread conchas have cinnamon (which I can't eat alot, still tasty ?). & You don't know the cost of each bread since it doesn't provide a price available, until the cashier charges you. ?? NO EBT! ?“

“The staff and management of this shop are exceptional. They're so kind and welcoming, and a great community partner. We are so grateful that they've joined our neighborhood, and our kids love going here. It's fun to bring my kids to Jamba Juice, a place I enjoyed going when I was a teen, too!“

“I visited on June 6th, and I have to say the customer service was 1000/1000! Chase and Vivian were absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with so much excitement and positive energy. The overall experience was fantastic, and their kindness truly stood out. People like them are what make you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!“

“Crumbl Cookie never disappoints! Every time I walk in, the store smells amazing and the staff is super friendly. Their cookies are always warm, soft, and full of flavor. I love that the menu changes every week because there’s always something new and exciting to try. The presentation is so cute, and the pink box makes it feel like a little treat every time.

My favorites so far are the chocolate chip and any of their seasonal flavors — they’re always perfectly baked and taste homemade. If you have a sweet tooth or just want to brighten your day, Crumbl is definitely the place to go! 🍪💗“

“Love this bakery - plenty of cake options with fresh fruits and whipped cream, and freshly baked pastries. Good variety of bread options and handcrafted coffees (hot pistachio cloud latte is 💚).
One thing to note is that some of packaged items are imported from Korea. So, if you're looking for freshly items, either get look for those explicitly marked as freshly baked or ask the staff.

One recommendation to the owners: if opening time could be shifted earlier, it would be greatly appreciated! Typically coffee shops open at 7-ish because people try to get breakfast before work. Many days I have to be at work by 8:30, which makes it impossible to get to TLJ at 9AM if I have budget for coffee and I go elsewhere.“

“Great thrift, bake shop and cafe! Haven’t visited the other services yet!“

“great customer service and food is really good“

“I am now in love & have found my new little favorite bakery. When I walked in I thought it was the cutest little shop ever. So bright & clean. So many cute little gift items, even for your pampered pooch. I bought 2 dozen variety mini bundts and they were sooooo delicious and very moist. The cream cheese frosting was out of the world. The presentation was awesome. I loved how they put a card inside each box so everyone knew what they were eating. I will definitely be back.“

“We are so grateful for the wonderful donation of cinnabon bites from the Vernon Hills Cinnabon store.
They were so fresh and delicious and our teaching staff was over the moon with excitement when they came in for breakfast.
