“Ate there for the first time tonight. I am vegan and my husband is an Omni. Chef Bill came out and waited on us personally, and gave us menu recommendations, all of which were delicious! The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced as well: shared appetizer, two teas, two entrees, and two desserts was $60. Will definitely be back for many more dinners!“

“I came here last night and let me tell you not only does the place look cool as hell. The customer service is excellent. Mohammad served us, and from the moment we walked in he offered a couple in line some water. Without skipping a beat he saw my girl and i and offered us some brownie bites and samples of ice cream. “My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. “Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.“

“After passing this building several times, I finally gave Altamura Pizza a chance. What a gem! From the employee who took my order (who was highly informative and friendly) to my pickup, I was very impressed! The owner told me about their charcuterie boards and was very passionate. She went out of her way to get my son, who was anxious to leave, gelato—very thoughtful and tasty too! My salad was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. The pizza was a breeze to cook, and everything tasted so fresh! I will be making this a staple place for takeout. I can’t wait to try the charcuterie board when we have people over! Thank you💓🍕“

“This is my 2nd time here and I had a great experience twice, 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner. We tried their Chungkiwa BBQ special and it was very good with multiple meat options, all very good quality and flavorful. My favorite was the beef and the spicy pork.
The servers were super nice. AND we got ice cream after!

“The best octopus we’ve had in a long time. You can definitely tell the chef takes pride in everything he puts out. We were in a rush and they quickly got us in and out and onto our next party with tequila shots. Thank you again for a lovely evening we will definitely be back!“

“Tried the express menu last weekend for the first time and was NOT disappointed. Vegan birria tacos (made with perfectly seasoned mushrooms) were excellent, though I have to admit the consomé wasn't, unfortunately. But the vegan soul plate was all good. The fried hearts of palm were tasty and crunchy, the mac and cheese was creamy and not too heavy, the sweet potatoes were Thanksgiving-y, and the greens did their job. And the hibiscus and ginger tea I ordered was delicious! I just wish it was less than a 40-minute drive for me, but what can you do?“

“Broken Tart is honestly one of our favorite coffee spots around Oak Park. The staff is always professional and welcoming, and the whole place just has a great vibe. Their coffee is so delicious,smooth, flavorful, and always consistent. And their pastries are next level. Everything tastes as good as it looks. The inside is cozy and clean, and the outdoor seating is perfect when you want to relax for a bit. Just a great place all around.“

“Really like the 3 course "Prix fix" even though there are some aditionalcharges for some elections. Valet parking was appreciated, Well decorated, good selection. One weak spot, and is common in many restraints, are the Hostesses. This is your first impression with any restaurant, yet they place little emesis on training the staff on proper customer service. Look at people when talking to them, not your computer. There should be better communication and interaction with the front desk. Otherwise, Service was excellent, Food was well prepared and presented, prices were fair.“

We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything.
