“I am so happy they are opened again. They were temporally closed which finding another restaurant that services the same quality of food is a challenge in this area. We always order take out and the food has great flavor and cooked well. We always order the fried rices and lo mien which any of the versions are good. General Tsao and Sesame Chicken.“

“Did GrubHub and food was hot and ready on time. We got pad Thai, orange chicken, dragon & phoenix and a few other things. Portions were decent and containers were full and packed well with oranges and broccoli to add color. We ordered mostly mild and one medium spice level. Mild was indeed mild and just really lacked flavor… it was ok, just not great. I’d definitely try it again with more spice to see if it alters the flavors.“

“Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“Quite honestly one of the most pleasant experiences I've had dining in. The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. First time here and I will definitely be back soon :)“

“This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. We ordered the stinky tofu, tofu is very flavorful. The veggie pot is so delicious that I saw from someone else sitting there and I could not help but to ask the name of the dish.“

“This place has some of the best Chinese food I have found near Hanover park/streamwood/Bartlett. Mongolian Beef is more traditional (spicy and not sweet, packed with beef, white and green onions and includes the crunchy white noodles). The fried rice with shrimp came with good size shrimp. The crab Rangoon is also packed with filling and you can tell they change their oil frequently. We also enjoyed their beef lo mein and sesame chicken. Their food is not salty, but if you like that add a little salt yourself to bring out a tad more flavor. Don’t plan on dining in, it’s not the greatest atmosphere. It is clean but clearly meant for carry out first.“

“The incense in the restaurant is very nice. I ordered shrimp egg roll (crispy) and potstickers. I can tell the egg rolls are homemade, and you'd be surprised how.manu places don't make them from scratch. The pot stickers are delicious and homemade as well. I was a tiny bit unhappy that my order wasn't ready when I got there, but the online ordering platform scheduled it for their exact opening time, so I'm going to give them a pass on that. Hope to try other things sometime.“

“I’ve only had one not-so-great experience here. I cannot eat meat so I rarely eat at an outside location. All (but one) time I’ve eaten there it’s been delish and perfect. My dad loved the BBQ Pork. The vegetable egg rolls are my go-to. I frequently have it delivered out of laziness, and the delivery driver always knocks and leaves my food ((exactly what I want!)) I would give it 4.8/5.0 stars. So far have tried momos, Chili paneer, paneer tikka and chicken tikka burgers, hakka noodles, veg pizza, onion samosas, pastries, tea, coffee, chikoo shake and Monk's special fries. “I'm vegan, and I got delivery from here on a whim, because they had vegetarian options and I wanted to try a new place. I'm always reassured when a menu has labeled vegan items, so I figured this was a safe gamble. I got the eggplant garlic sauce and it was one of the best eggplant dishes I've ever had. The salt and pepper tofu wasn't what I was expecting, but it was also super delicious. The vegan pho was fine, but I'm not a big pho person to begin with. Plus, the portions are quite generous so I can nibble on it for a few days!“
