“Really enjoyed my visit here ☕✨. The food was delicious, the coffee tasted amazing, and I especially loved that it was served in a ceramic mug instead of a paper cup 🥰☕. The customer service was outstanding - everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the visit 🙌. Even though the place was super busy on a Sunday morning, the atmosphere felt lively and enjoyable with a great overall vibe 🎶🍳. I also noticed how quickly the staff cleaned the tables after guests left, which kept everything looking neat and organized 🧼✨. Even the restroom was spotless 🚻. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again soon 💛😋“

“Quiet hole in the wall spot with some of the best food in the area. The owner is kind and works really hard to make quality food. A lot of Chinese American restaurants can have a sort of mass produced feel and use the same suppliers but you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into the food here.“

The ambiance was so relaxing and peaceful; it was a nice respite from a busy day and I didn’t want to leave. “The guy running this place is just great. He was super accommodating. Even went so far as to tell me that the freeze flavor I selected wasn't the best. Said he would let me try it, but if I didn't like it he'd make me something else (Thai Tea Freeze... Funky... Just like he said). He was true to his word and made me a lavender freeze for no extra cost that was totally delicious. I'll definitely come back. 100 stars for quality of customer service.“

“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

We worked with their team to have a small cake made for our daughter's first birthday and it was not only delicious, but they were very intentional with the questions they asked for the baking process. “Had an amazing experience at Mughal The Biryani House! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The chicken lollipop was perfectly crispy and juicy, the biryani was aromatic and authentic, and the samosa chaat was just outstanding with the right balance of spice and freshness.
We also tried the butter naan with chili chicken, and it was one of the best combinations ever — soft, fresh naan paired with flavorful and spicy chili chicken. Even the drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

What made the experience even better was the customer service. The Kerala guy who helped us was extremely friendly, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. He had such a warm and welcoming attitude that it genuinely made us feel comfortable and valued as customers.
The food quality, taste, portions, and hospitality were all excellent. You can really tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food in the area. I’ll absolutely be coming back again soon!“

“Convito cafe has long been one of our favorites. Our kids give us gift card every Christmas. Consistent quality , keeping old faves on menu along with specials per season. Tonight my husband loved the calves liver and I loved the fettuccini with fro magic and peas and pancetta. We each enjoyed the Caesar salads. That's fromagia not magic. And your desserts are always yummy!“

“I love this restaurant!! Perfect place to go to sample many Polish favorites, or to have a group meal (shower, birthday party, family gathering etc.) in the semi-private back room. All the food is really fresh and well prepared, just like Grandma used to make at home. It Is a buffet, so there are many choices to please every taste level. Desserts are in small portions, which I find very thoughtful, so you can sample more than one item without over doing it. You can also prepare a to-go box of favorites to take home, for an additional 'per pound' charge. The wait staff is welcoming, kind and efficient as well. Adult beverages of cocktails, wine and beer are available, in addition to coffee, tea, milk, and sodas. I enjoy 6-7 visits per year, and am never disappointed.“
