“This was our first time trying Middle Eastern food, i found the place on Google and decided to try it because of Good reviews and the food in the pics looks super yummy. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, super fresh made to order bread and everything. The staff was very friendly the place was clean. I definitely wanna come back and try other menu items. I had the chicken shawarma, my mom had the falafel Iraqi style and we also tried the house made Hummus and pitabread. They had chicken nuggets, fries and apple juice for my toddler too which is always a plus. I also did enjoy the decor it seemed very authentic and we were impressed all around.

“I ordered the garlic chicken pizza and it was absolutely delicious ?. The restaurant is located inside of the liquor store so Pizzawala doesn't sell its own drinks. The only thing I didn't like was that the Indian part of the menu has alot of nuts so i can't have most of it, but the staff is very helpful and informed me about the allergens.“

Keep in mind there are no tables to eat inside, this is a takeout/carryout only place.

They brought the mobile wood fired pizza oven and passed bacon wrapped dates/caprese skewers for apps and then served salmon, sausage and rapini pasta, and arugula salad for plated dinner. The guests all raved about the food! Margarita was the service lead and Dennis manned the open bar. All the staff was fantastic but these two specifically really made everything feel easy and took care of the guests until the bitter end.Cannot recommend Grateful Bites enough for their catering services!“

“I am a Chicago native now living in Colorado. While visiting, I needed to find a place that offered both deep dish pizza for my husband and gluten free pizza for me. This was a great choice. My husband was able to order deep dish by the slice and said it was delicious. My GF pizza was yummy with sausage and onion. I don't know what makes Chicago onions on pizza unique, but they just aren't the same anywhere else. The price was reasonable, and the tables outside in the shade were lovely.“

Usually get a Monster Pizza with plenty of ingredients. This time around, didn't take a photo of their small 12" pepperoni pizza ordered, but pictured here is their 6pc chicken wings with choice of sauce on the side - I chose hot sauce. Pieces are small in size but flavorful, juicy, and good without sauce too! Also had a couple of extra pieces thrown in. Until next time!“

“We visited Pizza by Sal for the first time yesterday after hearing great things from our neighbors, and overall, it was a positive experience. The food was good, and we’d definitely order from here again.

We started with the chicken tenders, which were indeed tender—we could have gone for seconds. For the pizza, we opted for cheese, sausage, and mushrooms. It was enjoyable, though we think calling it NY style is a bit of a stretch; most wouldn’t notice unless they’re from NY like us. The pie was tasty, but it felt a bit salty, possibly due to the cheese or sauce. The crust was thin and foldable, striking a balance between crispy and soft.

We’re giving 4 stars for a couple of reasons. While the service was quick at first, it slowed down significantly when we waited about 20-30 minutes for our pizza. Our waiter seemed to forget about us, so we had to remind him.

Additionally, the prices felt high—$29 for a 16" pie with two toppings seemed steep, likely due to the "Wilmette effect." They claim to use high-quality ingredients, but inflation plays a role as well.

Lastly, the noise level increased significantly once families arrived with kids running around and using the arcade machines. We suggest the owners consider adding sound-absorbing materials to improve the dining experience. It doesn’t need to be silent, but a quieter atmosphere would be nice. Overall, it’s a place we’d return to, especially if they address these issues.

It clearly had be sitting a long time waiting for the sausage which was very hot. We told the waitress and she promptly ordered a replacement but it took 15-20 minutes to arrive.
