The mixed grill was flavorful and perfectly cooked,
And the real star of the meal was the eggplant fatteh ( try to order it in advance it’s freshly cooked) . The combination of flavors was simply outstanding, making it a dish I would highly recommend to anyone , homemade quality !“

“This is my new barbecue go-to in Niles. I live close to here, and it is so easy to just come over and have a drink. They host some events, including live music and a book fair. It is a great place to have a party, and just plain have fun. I personally recommend the brisket. The fries here are something to crave. It is in kind of an industrial area. But the brewery has an industrial vibe. I totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a bar/bbq kind of place.“

“I had not been to Carson's in many years as I was not in the area. Happily, my return trip was superb— just as amazing as I remembered it. How many times are we disappointed when we go back to an old favorite after 10 or 20 years? The answer is more frequently than not. Now that I am back in the Chicago area, there are likely to be many returns. Best BBQ ever. Keep up the great work and don't change anything. 👍🏼👍🏼“

“Bluegrass Restaurant is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We have been ordering takeout and eating in since we came to Highland Park three years ago. The owners take pride in managing the restaurant on a daily basis. They prioritize customer service, great food, and a warm, welcoming experience. Last night, they hosted the Highland Park/Highwood Professional Moms group. We had only expected 15 women to attend, but 25 women ended up coming. The owners and the staff were AMAZING. They brought over additional chairs. They provided us with top-notch service, including separate checks. They respected us when we were speaking to the group and quietly took orders in the background. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant.“

“We had a fabulous dinner last night at Chicago Kalbi with Cummins Peru, Komat'su, and the VPs from Antimina copper mine.
Such a great place, where you cook the wagyu & kobe beef at your table. The food was delicious ?
Isao Tozuka, the chef and his wife Chiyo-san, are fabulous hosts, very friendly, and really happy to help and show you how things are do e.
I would definitely recommend coming here. It's a unique place. Make sure you book though ad it can be busy.“

“An excellent Chinese BBQ place run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They really know the art of BBQ and everything is cooked and prepared to perfection. The BBQ chef there had been around for at least a decade back from before the current owners took over the shop.
The prices are very reasonable and the taste authentic. The best part is buying BBQ from here saves me the time and hassle of going to Chinatown.“

“Tried it today for the first time! Very delicious, I loved the chicken mac & cheese. (Toddler approved too) The Cajun chicken sandwich is pretty good! I expected it would be spicy but sadly it wasn’t 🥲 Still was a great sandwich though! The cornbread muffins are amazingggg

“I came to a private event at Shaevitz. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the food was fantastic. The brisket and burgers are very flavorful. Shaevitz is conveniently located in downtown Highland Park with plenty of parking in the area. Supporting a conservative Kosher business is definitely a plus.
Will definitely return.“

“The food is good - a bit under seasoned for my taste, but you get plenty of it. They do not have real butter, which is a must with pancakes for my crew. The servers are friendly, though they had large sections so the service was on the slow side. Very kid friendly, clean bathrooms, decent prices. Overall a good experience.“
