“Outstanding. Second time getting the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos. The sauce is amazing and perfectly spicy. I.e. I don’t really like spicy food but their boom boom sauce is more tangy than hot. And incredible flavor and value, I mean TONS of shrimp, battered and tender. I love its simplicity. Just comes with sauce, lettuce, & tomatoes albeit I asked for no tomatoes and light lettuce and they made it perfect for me.“

“I had a host of family come visit from out of town. I ordered 50 piece wings from California Kitchen, it came with fries and 2 cans of pop. I was told 15 minutes for pick up and did not check the food prior to leaving. The chicken was fried very hard and wasn't good. I didn't call until the next morning and spoke to a manager. The manager was pleasant and very understanding. I was able to bring back the chicken from the previous day and recieved a full new 50 piece meal for my visiting family. He even asked if I wanted to keep the order that was messed up. Amazing customer service and the food was really good. I would always order from them, they really know how to treat their customers!! The new location is great too!.“

“Although we live almost two hours away from Springfield, IL, we do go there for shopping and medical appointments. Soooo....gotta grab some lunch somehwere...\n\n We have been to this Jersey Mike's location several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is upbeat, cheerful, and accurate in assembling the orders.\nThe property is reasonably clean, including the bathrooms.\n\nDuring the lunch rush hour they do lag a little in keeping the tables clean but I cannot justify dinging them for that.\n\nFor three adults our bill was $45, including a takeout jar of their fabulous hot pepper sauce.\n\nBy the way, we were at another eatery, a sit down establishment, and because of several circumstances, we chose to vacate those premises. So glad we did because with the speed of service at JM's, we could enjoy our selections without annoyance and our son got to work on time!“

“My son was given an achievement award at school for a free kids meal. Unfortunately we were given a a coupon that was expired. The manager still accepted the coupon even after telling us it was expired. My son was very proud of getting this award and was soooo excited to get his kids meal. I really appreciate Mr. Scott. “Came thru on a Friday night a little after 8pm and had the best curly fries I have ever had in my life here!! I never eat all my curly fries maybe a quarter of a box, tonight I ate my entire box and wanted more! Got and fresh, not sure if it was just a fluke we had hot fries or if they just cook to order but if it’s not just a fluke, This will be our go to Arby’s in town even though we live closer to the other one!!!“

“We love Gyro Stop. The food never disappoints and the staff is great. But if you close at a certain time, that should mean you close at that time. I tried to call in an order 45 minutes before close, which I think is reasonable. I got a recording that said they prefer online orders. Great! So do I. Nope. They stop taking those an hour before close. Called again and the recording gave me the options and I selected to speak to someone to place an order and was placed on hold. After a minute or so, I was told they couldn't take my call and to try again in 5-10 minutes. I decided to just go in and place it. Nope. Door was locked 30 minutes before close. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I've worked in the service industry so I am very understanding of the employees' time but if you say you're open until 7 (this was a Saturday), then stay open until 7.“

“This Clear lake location is the only one I will go to in Springfield. The staff have always been friendly and the food is pretty consistently fresh. My favorite is the sweet tea, made just right. I will also go out of my way to go to the Taylorville McDonald's!

As far as the other Springfield and Chatham locations, the employees need a lesson on work ethic and food service. The food is cold and fries cold and are always warmed over. And they are RUDE!
That's the result of pure laziness.
The Archer Elevator location....awful. THE STAFF IS RUDE!
I even refuse to go the the Chatham location!
It's pretty bad when the majority of the McDonald's here have such bad service.

“We pulled off the road in Springfield to grab a quick bite. This Arby's was just what we needed. The staff were super polite and patient as we revisited the menu. Our food came out hot and neatly prepared. The dining room and always troublesome sauce and napkin area was spotless. We even helped ourselves to some refills for the miles ahead. “First time dining here. Large menu and really large portions. Besides the gyro, they have schwarma, other Indian food, falafal, fried chicken and fish, hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage, and more. My wife had the loaded potato which was a spicy mixture of baked potato pieces, broccoli florets, grilled onions, cheese, and more. She couldn't eat all of it. I had the gyro meal. The gyro was so stuffed that I had difficulty getting it into my mouth and had to eat some of the filling before I could fold it together to pick it up.“

“The food was good as always. I ordered unsweet tea, but got sweet tea. I didn't discover this until I got home. I live halfway across town, so I didn't bother taking it back. But I was stuck without a drink, as I'm a type 2 diabetic and can't have the sugar. It was on my receipt as unsweet tea. I wish they would pay more attention to what they're doing. This has happened before at this same Taco Bell location.“
