“I can't believe we have such a great steakhouse in Highland Park now. We were there as a group of 6 that ordered steaks, burgers and veggie sides and the chef nailed it all. The skirt steak was incredible. Probably the best I had. My friends were very happy with their filets. The potato was creamy and super tasty as well, along with the asparagus. The prices are downtown prices and I think it was worth it. I would definitely go back soon“

“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“

“We came to Sophia Steak for our anniversary and had a great server- Carol. She took care to help me with my dietary needs and made the meal so special. They gave us a little champagne toast and special anniversary menus. It was all the little touches that make it perfect. And then there’s the steak! Next level taste, quality and sides. “First time at this location as we were visiting my son and daughter in law and was truly disappointed about dinner . Ordered herb crusted chicken with a side kick of shrimp and got a plain grilled chicken breast and let manger know and she offered nothing but got a new actual herb crusted chicken 15 minutes later after everyone was about done with dinner ! Been to Texas by our house several times and ordered this same thing and never got this kind of service ! Not even a sorry let me make it right !“

“I can't say enough about my whole experience with the staff, accommodations and food!! I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. We all had an excellent time I could not have been happier!!“

“My friend a d I ordered a 40 oz porterhouse steak to share. It was excellent and plus. Our waiter was very attentive and addressed all out requests. The price was high as it was Ruth's Chris. The only knot I had was the price on the wine. My merlot was nice. Since I buy these bottles for myself at home,just thought the mark- up was a bit on the high side.“
