Their Birria Pizza Tacos are a must-try as well. Such a creative twist, loaded with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite is satisfying.

A lot of Chinese American restaurants can have a sort of mass produced feel and use the same suppliers but you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into the food here.“

My family was out and I was on my own recovering from a surgery and felt like treating myself so I figured “ let’s get a bit fancy and order PF Chang”. What a huge mistake that was. The beef with Broccoli had les than 2 oz of beef for $30. I have included a comparison between Hunan Palace’s beef with vegetables vs what I received from PF. Hunan Palace blows PF away! Additional I have had very good luck requesting modifications, I like extra spicy and extra sauce, Human honored my request while PF did not. I think the pics tell all“

“Our order was ready 10 minutes early so we were glad we came early. There was one table of diners in a relatively nondescript dining room but lots of carry out orders. Our egg rolls were tasty but without the traditional Chinese fried outside. These were pretty greasy but had more meat than vegetables which was a pleasant surprise. They came only with a Chile sweet sauce and it added to the taste. Our potstickers were just ok and had a slightly gooey exterior. \nOur main courses included Mongolian beef which was much higher quality beef than most places offer. Nice flavor and sauce. Our noodle dish with chicken was also flavorful as were the moo shu chicken ingredients. \nPrices were on the high side but the portions were generous and the quality deserved it. The value was great and we would return.“

I live downtown and have visited his restaurants in Chinatown and Michigan Ave. The food is exception each and every time I go to either location. When the "coming soon" sign popped up in Highland Park, I could not have been more thrilled, considering the food at our local chinese restaurants refuse to raise the bar on their food. There is no better Szechuan restaurant in the Chicago area or beyond. The food, the staff, and the service are all exceptional and executed with perfection and passion. This has been the most anticipated opening on the northshore for a reason. Lao is simply unbeatable. I love it love it LOVE IT!!!!!“

“I’m from the city and haven’t found a Chinese spot in the suburbs until now. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a big smile from the woman preparing my carry out order. The pork fried rice was great! It was well seasoned and had a generous amount of pork in it. The portions were exactly what you expect for the price you pay. Very satisfied.“

“This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. From eggrolls to fried rice, the quality is great! Tastes fresh, portions are reasonable and how long it takes to receive your order is prompt. “We have been going to Chinatown Kitchen since their kids were little and now they are in college. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Takeout area always clean and you can see an area of kitchen same way. We have certain preferences that we do not want put into the food and we are very happy the results and the tastes. Have on occasion, friends, tried other places, but always went back to Chinatown Kitchen. Like a good marriage why go somewhere else if you are happy there?!!!!!“

I forgot that there were peanut pieces/crumbs on it as a topping included and it came as a surprise and the boss lady was soooo sweet and kind. she was so eager and genuine, and instantly made a worried expression and offered to remake it. me and my friend ordered 2 noodle dishes, and it took like 15 minutes or so to wait. They have Taiwanese mai fun that are one of the best I've tried! Their egg foo young is savory and full of veggies! Beef chow fun is delicious! I can go on and on! “Aimos was our server for the evening. He was very intentive and quick to bring out a food and proper order. I hate receiving the appetizer and the entree at the same time, very pleased that didn't happen. The food came out within about 10 minutes and we had 3 entrees and it was so hot and fresh. Aimos was on top of refills and checking in on us accommodating accordingly. Very pleasant and relaxing visit. Will definitely come back. I got the Orange Chicken with white rice. It is a sit down restaurant with a lot of parking.“

“I am not local, this is a regular go-to place for a friend, so when I visit with her, she wants to bring me. I had a Chinese Eggplant with chicken dish, flavorful and spicy. Also had some nigiri sushi, all very good. The Black Tobiko was plentiful and fresh. The Tamago and Inari, which are types of sushi that are deceptively simple seeming but really show a chef's knowledge and artistry, were excellent. I'm sure I will go again.“

For some reason these were the two best tasting meats I’ve had at panda. We go a lot, so this is saying a lot.
