“I wanted to give this location props for their lunch on 8/17. Walking in around 1pm, I could tell they had had their butts handed to them and were obviously understaffed. However, in my perspective they were handling the hangry customers very well, were staying calm and the staff that was present seemed to know what they were doing. The only reason for 4 stars is because and (this has happened more than once at this location) rather than suggesting I try my Pesto Cavatappi with pork, they tell me it comes with pork, which is not true. There is an additional charge for any meat on this bowl.“

“It is so refreshing to meet an owner who is actively present in his restaurant. Mark Salmon enthusiastically and creatively arranged for my friend and I to dine outside (our request), despite the rain. We stayed dry under umbrellas and thanks to Sandra, our amazing waitress, we celebrated my birthday with fine food (impressive menu choices and food presentation) and great company! It was my first time dining at 501 Local and this restaurant met and exceeded my high standards in every way! It is a hidden gem and our new fav restaurant. Highly recommend!!“

“Goirdano’s left our area and I stumbled on to NPC. I ordered and was surprised they deliver to Skokie. I called an hour later and they informed me due to busyness our pizza was accidentally delivered to the wrong location. They quickly credited me the amount and still made a new order for us. The pizza was fantastic. Deep dish and margarita. They totally owned the situation and did their best. Pizza felt cleaner. Less additives or chemicals than Lou’s or Giordano’s. Will definitely return.“

“Large and varied menu, and they were quite accommodating to our party of 7. Every person at our table ordered something different and was delighted with their meal. I had the osso buco with risotto and it was delicious. Banana cake and butter cake for dessert were enough to feed the whole table after such a rich meal. It's the kind of place where you want to try everything on the menu because it all sounds so good. I will definitely come here again the next time I'm in town.“

“Foodstuffs is quite fabulous! From their soups to sandwiches to prepared foods, you can’t go wrong with everything fresh and delicious. And be sure to get their Courtney’s tuna salad - the best!!!

The Glencoe location is a bustling place and they have a wider variety than the Evanston location (which I also highly recommend).

And did I mention the desserts?! Lots of scrumptious options!

The food itself was really good, I got the chipotle glaze it had a tangy, mild kick to it which I loved. When I moved over to the dining room it looked really clean and stocked in items. “When I saw this deli open I thought, ho hum, just another deli. This is not ‘just another deli’. Selection is great, food has been outstanding. I especially like using their iPhone app. Easy to order and make customizations to your sandwich. I like to substitute the wheat wrap on my Spicy Southwest Chicken. The Chicken Tortilla soup is also fantastic - just enough heat for me. My wife loves the Savannah Chop salad. If you plan to eat in, study the menu before you go. You’ll have a hard time deciding! In my experience the prices for all there items we’ve ordered are reasonable. Example - the Savannah Chop salad was $8.89. Not bad for a large salad with grilled chicken. Support this business because they are a differentiator.“

“The food surprised me here. The burgers and tortas are my favorite. The pizza is better when ordering a whole one than ones sold by the slice, due to being fresh. For having pizza in the name I was surprised that so much of the other food beats the pizza. The Mexican, the pasta, the burger, and app all rank higher for me than the pizza. It’s a frequent and convenient stop for me.“

“One of the best Panera locations and has a nice fireplace. Super cozy. Food is made to perfection, however you request. Staff is super nice. Michelle, I believe is the manager, she’s doing a fantastic job, and the orders are excellent. We come at least 3-4x a week.
