“so ordered combination teriyaki and garlic parmesan wings and an order of macaroni and cheese, the teriyaki wings were fairly saucy and reasonably tasty move on to the garlic parmesan wings which had zero sauce however they did have Parmesan on them. according to the manager they didn't have any sauce on it so they parmesan them up. now let's move on to the macaroni and cheese I've had macaroni and cheese out of the box from Aldi that had thicker cheese sauce. so I questioned the manager about this his exacting answer to me was we buy our ingredients for that at Walmart. so you buy your ingredients from Walmart when you're a restaurant so that's not actually acceptable and the lake county health department standards for a restaurant. you could literally pour the cheese sauce out of the cup so I question the manager on both of these and he's the one that told me this and didn't seem to give any care about our dinner... so I'm just leaving this up for everybody else they don't seem to care. didn't offer to make anything right and well they will never get our money again. if you want some macaroni and cheese Heck just go to Walmart and buy some you might get the better quality than they make.“

Daaamn who knew this lowkey spot was goooodd! Can’t believe I barely tried this spot since it’s down the road of where I live. Got the FULL house double smash burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onions and “dijonaise” combo with waffle fries/ drink for around 18$. Really loved the freshness of this burger and the bacon was so crispy and just right and with the cheddar cheese. Waffle fries had a Cajun seasoning and were crispy and fresh. Our new go to burger spot ! Also I enjoyed their fried chicken Sanwhich with chipotle mayo and lettuce and pickles, soo crispy and everything is fresh off the grill.“

“This was my first time going to a Steak ‘n Shake. I really was impressed by the ordering method if doing it on the screen inside. The inside of the restaurant is nicely clean. The old fashion theme is really nice too. I got the triple steak burger. Dyammm, It fills you up! If you want to easy a lot, go here! The fries were also good but the cheese on top could have been a bit hotter. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, or even before you go to the movies!“

“I have updated my review to 5 stars because they are one of the few fast food restaurants that has a good tasting gluten free hamburger bun.

Dietary restrictions: Though they have gluten free buns, they do not have designated gluten free cooking stations. I am not hypersensitive to gluten so I can eat their burgers and grilled chicken without adverse reactions.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“I ordered catering from Eggville Cafe a friend of mine said their catering was amazing and I had a family gathering coming up I had to try it out! Everything was perfectly cooked they had so many different options to choose from I ordered the kebabs and a side salad, some potatoes some meatballs and a couple other things that they threw in everything tasted amazing. It was delicious and was reasonably priced if you were looking for catering for any event like a graduation coming up or birthday or family gatherings I definitely highly recommend them they were amazing and they got everything I wanted and more!!“

“Very good hot dog; they really grill it until it is hot. A "Shroomer" made as a grilled chicken sandwich is good. The burger is good and I have ended up getting a kid's meal last time so that I can try to eat less meat. I am more of a light weight person anyway. The inside of the restaurant could be renovated. They are still in the real old Kooker's building with the same old tile floor that Kooker's restaurant had when I was in high school. It is over 20 years later now. I have been willing to go back to Happy Burger to get meals. The people at the front desk are nice. I do admit, though, sometimes I end up getting a burger for $3 at fast food drive-throughs. Happy Burger (HB) burger tastes more like a fresh made juicy burger when compared to the McDonald's on the other side of the street. HB fries are not bad but could be better because when the HB fries come up and go into a bag, I have found they were a bit wet.Wet fries is a common imperfection with Chicago-style grills.“

“I came into BK for a dinner meal for my kids while I was in town visiting yesterday and let me say I was so impressed upon arrival, The manager Alberta had given me a warm welcoming and even assisted me with ordering a family meal for my kids. Her customer service was excellent! The food came out in a decent time I didn’t have to wait too long and everything was fresh! The cooks are super fast and hard working. “Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.“

Ray was informed that he was to place his order at the Kiosk. Ryan told cashier “I don’t know how to do that”. Young lady told Ray she was not allowed to come out and help him.
