I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“If you’re in Chicago and looking for amazing food, S2 Grills Chicago is definitely a spot you need to check out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. Great food, great service, and a clean environment; you can’t ask for much more than that. Hands down a 10/10 experience. “Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Up until now, I have never wanted to try frog legs until I tasted theirs. Took my Mom to lunch and tried one of hers which turned into a few and now I'm hooked. They were moist, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very fresh and well sized. Didnt too much care for the chicken wing zings. They were too salty although fresh and crispy. Also had the seafood salad which was good. Been back again for the frog legs. FYI it is CASH ONLY. Great customer service which was a plus for me. So I didn't mind coming back considering I live no where near the restaurant.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Our fish dishes were great! My Mrs had a chicken dish. One small piece of breast meat pounded thin with a few potatoes and some peas. It was not much of a serving at all, a bit dried out, and pretty pricey for this entree. The dessert service was just an assortment of shotglass-sized cheesecakes, etc. I'm not sure what we paid for them, but a shot glass-sized serving should pretty much be a gesture of thanks from the chef and the house. Drinks were good but again a bit pricey for the area.“

“Honestly didn't expect to be this impressed walking in, place looks low key from outside but the food says otherwise. Went with the langostinos Nayarit style after the waiter talked it up, heavy on garlic and totally worth the hype. Brought wine since it's BYOB, just know there's a limit on how much per person so don't overdo it. Salsa on the table is not playing around, respect it. Solid spot for a seafood night.“

“Went here for the first time to give it a try. Honestly speaking. The place was very clean The layout was fresh. I had the chicken and fish combo. With wings catfish and talipia. The chicken was well seasoned a bit too salty for me personally but still good. Talipia was bland but the crust was good. But the Catfish can take them very far. I was very impressed and will be back regularly for their Catfish. Yummy“

“Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“
