“We had a really nice dinner here a couple days before Christmas. It has a really cozy neighborhood feel and the waiter was super nice. They have a daily happy hour which was awesome, we got mussels and cocktail shrimp for a really good price. It is very family friendly, they were very kind to our toddler. The best thing we ate there among many good things was the apple galette dessert, it was amazing.“

“This is an amazing grocery store in the heart of Lincoln Square. They have a great selection of groceries, the second floor adds in a large wine liquor and beer selection, and finally the butcher can't be beat. From fresh cut lamb chops, to as many brat varieties as you can think of, to freshly made pasta salad, they have it all. A must visit if you are in the area!Parking: Limited amount of spots available in the front of the store.“

“Tonight, the Wife and I asked for a table of 4, saw multiple tables open. Host replied with "Looks like we're not going to have table free for the rest of the night." Our 2 friends walked in about 5 minutes after us for a table, Host proceeds to not automatically deny them and asks the servers. Servers apparently had a problem with having another table until another server came worked it out. Finally, Wife and I walk back in to join our friends and overhear 2 servers discussing with the host about not seating anyone after 9pm (they close at midnight btw) Great to know that you wanting to close early is more important than actually doing your jobs and making easy money (we only got drinks and 2 apps) Pathetic, will not come back. “Absolutely adore this place, visited with my family and they made us all feel very welcomed. They treat you like you’re their family. Bartender was very warm and attentive, even let us sample some high end whiskey before buying it. Loved the ambiance, it felt very cozy. Like something out of a movie. “I was looking online for good deals on wine tasting and came across this place. I'm so glad I went to check it out! The ambiance is super nice, big windows and plants and lots of wood decor. It has a very local, casual vibe, and many of the people there seem to be regulars. I went for the wine tasting, which they offer every Thursday from 5-7pm. The tasting costs only $5, but it is free with any purchase. We bought the red wine cheese set for around $13, so we got our wine for free. They also kindly cut and arranged the cheese for us, and it was perfect for two people. We got to try four wines: Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio, Schild Estate GMS, Viva Valentina Sangiovese, and Chateau Kefraya Les Breteches. The GMS and sangiovese were definitely my favorite. It was a really great experience! Everyone was really friendly, the price was incredible, and the wine was high quality. I definitely hope to be back here.“

“Service, ambiance, atmosphere and wine is what you will find at this location. There are some foo foo small bite foods available as well but I did not get into those upon my initial visit. This is a lovely fairly recent addition to Highland Park and one that I recommend you explore. If the name sounds familiar, it should. There are two other locations you may very well be familiar with, one on Waukegan road in Wheeling, and the other in Roselle. I would recommend starting with a flight to get a better feel for the range of wines they offer. There are your expected staples, along with some more aperitif sweeter options. Some of my faves this visit were the Tempranillo 2019,Sauvignon blanc, and the Syrah. The sweets were honestly too sweet for this kid. There is a wine club that you can join and I recommend that you do, we did! If you are looking for a third place to catch up with friends or family, the HP location will definitely lend itself well. Also take advantage of Wine Down Wednesdays for additional deals as well. If you happen to be visiting The Lot for an event, caddy corner across the street, this venue is literally steps away, be sure to stop in and say hello. If needed, the parking across from the venue allows three hours free.“

Everything was fresh and flavorful and the service was excellent.First, they brought out bread and a heavily seasoned olive oil dip (garlic, salt, paprika, yumminess!). The patatas bravas were flavorful and perfectly roasted. However, my favorite dish was the hot garlic shrimp.
