“Man when I say this food is beyond amazing it is. The mango habanero sauce is amazing better than any you guys will ever taste. The wings Better that than bdubs and wings stop the only bad thing is they close at night when the munchies hit. 10/10 for sure“
“Incredible customer service! Christine + Anthony were working today and gave me the full red carpet treatment (first time ever eating Mochinuts!). Mochnuts are an incredible novelty we just discovered! (Imagine a chewy donut). Highly recommend pairing food with the refreshers!! So as long as I'm in the area I'm probably going to be a weekly or bi-weekly return customer.“
“Run over to this little spot on Bank Lane, a side street in the center of town, for a perfectly presented Chicago Style hot dog. Delicious! The seeded bun, the soft boiled dog, impeccably chosen toppings-- superb! I really loved the water canister-- a simply beautiful "thing" that delighted me! I saw a Not-So-Sloppy Joe coming out and I'm coming back for that! It's a friendly clean place. The owner said they've been around since 1963! Coming from a town in Ohio that has a famous place called The Hot Dog Shop, well, I'm not easy to please in this department-- but today I got WOWED! I'll be back for the homemade soups (the mom makes these I'm told) and today it is Wedding Soup and Tomato Soup. Lots of others good choices on the menu.“
“I have been meaning to try Dear Franks for some time and I am glad I finally did. I ordered the #5 Italian Sausage combo meal with some sweet peppers and it was delicious. And it came with a ton of fries. I ordered the Dear Franks Famous Cheddar Cheese to go with my fries and I highly recommend that. Yum! My only complaint with it was that it was over $15 for the combo meal (not counting the cheddar cheese) which seemed a bit high to me. My wife ordered the #6 Cheeseburger combo meal and it was also very good. My kids each ordered the hotdogs and reported back that they were tasty. I was kind of surprised how large it was inside. For some reason, I thought it was going to be much smaller. But there was plenty of tables. The staff behind the counter was very friendly and the restaurant seemed clean. Even though we walked, I noticed there was a good amount of parking which is nice.“
“5+++???? Sis Keez and Sis Alex are supa stars and they got Kobie's back. They do a great job keeping things running. They are divergent personalities but they keep things moving and interesting! ?Kobie Makes some good Q, Don't be afraid to order some, it's top shelf. The dogs are good also, they don't scrimp on the dogs or the condiments. Their fries are really good, excellent flavor and crispy.Keeza keeps that hot kitchen running. The pizza?is a throwback to the Chicago corner pizzerias. The krusty bubbles on top of the pizza is something I haven't seen in many years. It gives it that extra flavor. All of the accoutrements were fresh, and really on the low end of the cost scale. If you only have a few bucks, go here! The bathrooms are spotless, and, we all know that clean bathrooms equal clean kitchens. Dirty bathrooms, go somewhere else! Believe me, all of the reviews I've done over the years, that has been the case. Really a nice and simple establishment. From dogs, to Q, to seafood, to pizza! As it should, it's all good!Vegetarian options: SaladsDietary restrictions: AskParking: Large lot.Kid-friendliness: YepWheelchair accessibility: Yep“
“Lots of food options, nice atmosphere with props and lots of seating. Staff is nice and food comes out relatively quickly. Some foods are on the pricier side but all foods are high quality and delicious with large potion sizes, good restaurant for large familiesVegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and had clearly marked vegetarian dishes on menu. Staff is accommodating and can alter dishes to make them vegetarianParking: Lots of spots as it is within a big shopping complex“
“Not too many hot chicks working here but that’s fine. The food was really good. The claw machine was broken so if you were gonna go there for just that don’t. This is completely irrelevant but Im a little bit hunger over today. Gonna eat some Korean and just take it easy tonight.“
“Max's Dawg House is an iconic place in Libertyville. The people there are amazing and the food is even better. Fantastic spicy sausage, amazing charred cheese dog and one of the best gyros anywhere. Oh, and by the way, freshly cut fries. Love this place.“
“Family-owned, old school Chicago lunch spot. Don't be fooled by the location in a strip mall. The owners take your order on a pad of paper and ring you up on a 1990s cash register. Menu is everything you'd expect from a Chicago burger/dog/italian beef spot. Greasy and delicious. If you're in the mood, this place hits the spot. A shame they are only open for lunch!“
“First off the service was great. They were very nice people. There are more tables than you'd expect but I imagine at busytimes might be more of a take out destination. And it seemed clean and bright inside which is good. The best food was the burger, juicy...it was a good solid burger. Kids weren't as big fans of the chicken gyro (would've gotten the real gyro but there wasn't much left, which probably means it's popular, when I got there, so would try that in the future). Fries were decent. They make the shakes from scratch (just probably need to clean the blenders (and/or ice cream scoopers) more btw uses as the plain chocolate shake had a strong minty note (also I wasn't paying attention but chocolate shakes gotta still have added choc syrup, I dunno if it did, which prolly means no). Oh and gotta use fresh bananas for banana shakes, syrup or powder, to quote the bard Mando, just isn't the way. And that might be my biggest gripe with an otherwise really solid diner-like joint.“
“Still tasts the same. I use to go to the Original Hoagie Hut when I was in grade school. Service isn't fast but that is because it's made to order. But always worth the wait. Only thing that bugs be is, I wish the hours were a bit different. I have made trips there based on their Google hours posted to find out they closed early. No sign nothing. As a person that works customer service I would suggest updating your hours. It has happened to me a few times so either they close early often or their hours really are not correct on Google. I know alotnof businesses have changes their hours since covid and have shortened them but I think it should be changed in Google website etc. Gas isn't cheap. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would dislike driving 30+ minutes out to find out your closed.“
“I had the 2 hot dog meal. The dogs were great! I gave 4 star on the food only because the fries weren’t all that good for me personally but overall I love the atmosphere & the service was very fast. I’ll come back & try other options on the menu for sure!“
“The employees are helpful and friendly. What I really like about this place is they keep up with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food is always warm and they serve more than enough food. I'd definitely recommend them ,if you haven't tried them.“
“came from Meridian Mississippi to my daughter's bootcamp graduation and looked this place up because I wanted a Chicago style Hotdog it was awesome I really loved the the staff is friendly and this place is fast I'm going to give it a 9.9 out of 10 it's a go to restaurant“
“Reliable hot dogs and the like. Chocolate shakes are good. Cheese sauce at Deer Frank's is better. Why do they make those poor folks stand out in the cold to take your order though? There was no line when I went and still someone was made to work outside in the just freezing temperatures.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and drive through.“
“One of my favorite places to go when I'm near Lake Bluff. The people that work here are an absolute delight and the food is delicious. So many great options and at a great price.Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, but there are some other spots across the streetKid-friendliness: Menu is friendly for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Possible, but configuration of doors may make it a bit challenging“
