“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The owners are ALWAYS pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, and that is a big plus. “Some of the best Chinese food in the South Suburbs. Prices are comparable to other places. Portion sizes are good. Only small complaint is sometimes their inconsistent with how they prepare something. For example the broccoli and garlic sauce - I've had it before where the sauce is very thick and the broccoli broccoli was a little mushy but for the most part they always get it right. I pretty much always order it through a delivery app and the food still comes hot. Egg rolls are good and crisp. Sesame chicken is nice, slight sweetness with a little heat. Fried rice is flavorful.“

“I ordered a small veggie fried rice. It was good but the container is SUPER small and the price is a bit high $10.50. I know groceries prices are outrageous but rice, 🥕 and 🍄 are still pretty cheap. Green peppers are on the expensive side if not on sale but there wasn't enough peppers to justify the cost. Thats my opinion.“

Our food was fantastic. I can truly say that we enjoyed our dinner.

“I've passed this place probably a thousand times over the last 20 years. I never bothered to go in here because I thought it was closed down. I started working a new job a few doors down from this restaurant when I realized they were actually opened. I went into this location because I needed something to eat fast and much to my surprise it was a very good. The vegetable egg rolls were top-tier and the fried rice was fresh and tasty. I will definitely go back it was surprisingly delicious.“

“Have been a loyal customer to this restaurant for over 40 years and have continued to patronize it despite the inconsistency of food quality. Although I have always been treated kindly when I pick up my order, I can see why patrons complain about management, not overly friendly. It is in serious need of an update as peeling wallpaper and drab interior, regardless of the fact you can’t be seated for a meal, leaves one wondering how kitchen is kept up. At one time it was best Chinese food around, not so anymore.“

“My husband and I just found out about this place. We love it! As with a buffet, there are some things you like, and some things you don't. You just do the best you can. As far as the food being cold, that can happen at any buffet. I know to go to the bottom where all the heat is. I always see them checking the food, stirring it, and replenishing it. There is always someone there checking to see if you need anything and taking your finished plates. They have been very nice to us. As far as the paper plates and plastic ware, that's a Covid precaution. There's a Buffet that I go to in Merriville that does the same thing. I don't mind! We usually go to China Buffet for lunch. I'm just going to make sure that I don't go to close to closing time. Oh yeah! They have the most delicious soft drinks ever.“
