“Its really doesnt get better than Dear Franks. Everyt8me we go, the tood is the exact same as before. Hands down the best polish sausage in the area. This is the only place thats ever asked me if id like my hot dog charred or not(couodnt reccomend charred more!). Its been the same staff for as long as i can remember and they are always fantastic! Extremely family oriented as well which i absolutely love! I really couldn't reccomend this place more for an amazing hot dog and polish sausage!“

“My son just graduated from Navy boot camp and before I dropped him back off we were hungry. To be honest I haven’t liked the food since I’ve been here. I’m from Waco Texas. BUT this place was amazing! I never in a million years would ever think what they called Red Sauce on a chicken sandwich would go together! But it was so good! I truly appreciate this place very much!“

“Hi. I’m Julie. Just moved to the area. Love Lake Villa. Coming from years in Cook County, where small mom and pop hamburger stands are a plenty I was so pleased to find R-Dog.
Friendly staff, always smiling. The character of the antiques that harken back to a simple way of life are a welcome respite in today’s busy world.
Food is amazing, always piping hot. I highly recommend the gyros plate, with its over abundance of fresh meat. Soft warm pita beckons for the cool cucumber sauce. My mom’s #1 guilty pleasure.

“I don't even know where to start. We went after graduation with our sailor. It wasn't crowded and everyone was so nice and so helpful. We ordered individual meals and an additional deep dish pizza (which was DELICIOUS) and it wasn't too expensive at all. Everyone enjoyed the variety of their individual meals and we definitely loved the pizza. The customer service had a great hometown feel and we felt right at home.“

“I have been wanting to try Kong Dog for a while and I’m glad we did. The customer service was great and the food was better than expected.
You place your own order at the kiosk, but the staff was very helpful with our questions. The cook and cashier were both super kind.
The only downside was the seating area. The tables needed to be wiped down, although the ordering station and food line looked clean. Overall, a good experience and I would go back. We did take our food to go.“

“Due to the price, I had not been to 5-Guys for at least 5 years. Today, there was a special buy one get one deal,,so I had to order. The ordering through the app was very simple, including entering the discount code.
I arrived at the agreed on time, as I entered, only one other customer… the guy behind the counter announce my arrival.. in a positive way. The burger was actually a bit smaller than I expected, but was really good. The fries were perfect, I would be happy with just those.“

“As a semi-frequent visitor before the fire and just visited for the first time since. I'm happy to report that the quality seems to be just as good if not better, everybody got their food fast, accurate and hit the spot. The drinks were good, root beer float was killer, and the burgers and chicken sandwiches were great. Go ahead and visit before they close for the year, and looking forward to 26.“

“We have never had a bad meal at Mean Weiner. We have ordered in and eaten in the restaurant. We have made many changes to our orders and have never had a problem. “Food was absolutely fantastic, as is the atmosphere. However, service is absolutely lacking. When it comes to someone checking your table to see if everything is okay By asking How is your food? Do you need a refill on your drink? There is absolutely no service whatsoever table side!“
