“Had dinner last night. We had an excellent server named Carly. She was extremely friendly and answered our questions. She came back to the table several times to check on us.
It was refreshing to dine out and be treated so nicely.
We also chatted with Patrick the manager who we talked with each time we have been to FatPour and he is an absolute sweetheart too.
All in all good experience and we will return!

“I awoke this morning, filled with regret and resentment. I nearly stayed under my supple, cozy sheets. Yet, I prevailed. I stumbled upon this Elegant establishment. I needed something greasy and practical for a hangover. I also needed to watch the Minnesota gophers beat up Rutgers (do they even have a mascot)? I ordered the double smash burger, and went to work. The service was quick, very quick, which made me believe the burger would be subpar. My first bite awoke me. I was so back. Every following taste left me with childlike joy, much like a young Jack Slunecka frolicking through the South Dakota prairies. I can not recommend this establishment more. Thank you Parlay, not only for giving me strength. But, giving me the motivation to carry on, and make the world a better place. I Love you so so much.“

“I love this American restaurant, the food is delicious, satisfying and enjoyable. I especially love the burgers and fries, they are freshly made and very authentic. In addition, the environment here is also very comfortable and spacious, which makes people feel very relaxed and happy. The waiters are also very friendly and welcoming, they always greet guests with a smile and provide many useful tips and recommendations. All in all, this is a very good American restaurant and I will come here often to enjoy the food and time.“

“I was in Chicago for one night to help move my son to Dallas. He lived a modest walk from Mac's, so we headed there for dinner. I ordered a burger (the name escapes me) that had a beef patty, bacon, pickles, lettuce and tomato, a grilled jalapeño and a habanero sauce. The waiter told me it was really hot. I replied with confidence that I was from San Antonio and was used to spicy food. So he asked how I would like the meat cooked and left to place our order. The burger was great, BUT it was also VERY hot. Wow! I was in fire! So be careful what you ask for, because at Mac's you'll get it! My son had a regular, less adventurous burger.

We enjoyed a cool evening outside with our food and a couple of brews. The wait staff was excellent.“

“We’ve been there before but it seemed a waste of a nice neighborhood bar. The past few times there were hardly anyone in there and I always thought it was a shame that a neighborhood bar with lots of potential was empty however, today there was a few more people than normal and the bartender Jennifer was greeting everyone and making everyone feel welcome. We stopped in for the Bears game and they had pizza for customers which was definitely a plus because we didn’t eat beforehand and it allowed us to stay and watch the game rather than going somewhere else to eat. If it keeps up, we may continue to go there to watch the games!“

“We went in after a miserable day. We were weary and super hungry. The Pony was just the right medicine. Big kudos to our bartender who took great care of us. I had two Anti Heroes-there was a sheen of ice on the top of the beer which is just exactly how beer should be served. Our waffle fries nachos plate was huge. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and tater tots which was equally delicious. We went in around 5pm which is why I gave only four stars for atmosphere there weren't many people around. “We had zero knowledge of, or plans to visit, this place, but we had to get a tire fixed on our way to REI (for forgotten cold weather attire). We walked over and it was seriously the best experience on our vacation so far. The service was amazing, the food was amazing (Italian beef is better than Google recommended places, honey mustard for the chicken fingers so good, house made lemon vinaigrette to die for). The service was personable and fun. Make sure you hit this spot. You will not be disappointed.

“I visited as a solo traveller from Scotland on a Friday for the legendary Turtle Racing. I paid for the drinks package which included drafts and well drinks. It was worth the price and the experience was great. I will return in 2025 when I visit again!“

Also the meat had zero seasoning. It tasted just like you were eating playing ground beef. Even with all the toppings on it. And before anyone asks, it was not busy yet. Started getting busy after we receive our food. 3 in our party got the same thing and they all agreed…possibly one of the worst burgers we ever ordered. Others in our party ordered other things and they said they were good. But if I was asked to smash or pass on the smash burger it’s a hard pass.“
