“Uncle John's RRR Bar, or triple R, has a great atmosphere. It's normally a diverse crowd, ages are a pretty even mix between 21-50+. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Don't sleep on the smash burgers, they are amazing, and the kitchen is open late.“

“My husband and I stopped in during the Pride event just looking for the first place we found with food, and not only was the music and atmosphere super cool, we got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and I swear, it was THE BEST pizza 👏🏻 I’ve 👏🏻 ever 👏🏻 had. The service was great, the food was affordable. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I usually stop in every other Friday, quiet as it's kept, the best burgers and fish in the neighborhood. the new manager Misty is what I call a people's person. misty will ensure your experience is pleasurable, her sole goal is to ensure you return to their establishment, again. “I've been there a few nights for the pool league on Wednesdays. It was pretty lively. It's a nice small bar with a beautiful patio out back. They have dart boards, slot machines, and an ok selection of beer and liquor. Good small bar vibe, cozy.“

“Wife and I stopped by while doing our own little bar hop visiting Belleville. First 2 places we visited we weren't impressed with. Saw Demos while looking for other options. Walked in and immediately felt a very welcoming vibe! The bartender (Sam) was great, and she overheard we were hungry for a pizza. She came over and gave us several recommendations, and we ended up going with her personal favorite (Bennie's). Sam, it was really good!!! Thanks for helping out a couple of strangers!! We will be back!!“

“I can say the food was excellent, and not overpriced. I will look forward to coming back here every time I go back home through Columbia to play disc golf at Konarcik Park in Waterloo, one of the most fun disc golf courses I have ever played. I love this place, and it is going to be my new tradition. You rock!“

“I've been coming to this eclectic, artistic, ever-changing bar for years. I do miss the Rastafarian cooks from the old days in the late '80s. It is a mandatory stop for a drink or three whenever out of towners want to do something a little" different ".

“Catfish the owner consummate bar owner he remembers everyone and makes a point to greet his customers personally. A Harley rider himself holds group rides on Saturdays during riding season. This is the local location of the annual Blessing of the Bikes . A large outdoor seating area with plenty of property for huge crowds attending several biker events each year. Always some free food on weekends as well as bar food for sale reasonabley priced beer and cocktails.“

“We stumbled upon this bar and grill and decided to grab a beer and lunch. We both had the Reuben sandwich and I had fries while my husband had chips. It was very good food except for the fries. Holy cow, so much salt in the seasoning I could not eat more than a few.“

“Amazing people, a spectacular Benton Park gem for those located nearby. No fake fancery or pompous attitude, just some awesome people, both bartenders and customers. Also- you can BYO food. And there is a Rallys a block away. So, in essence, they serve rally’s. If that’s your thing.“

“We are full-time RVers who, while traveling around the US, are in search of the best cheeseburger and have a rating system of The Best (only 1 rated), Very Good, Good, OK, and Not Impressed. While at our home base in Southern Illinois, we were in the Columbia, IL, area and Googled “hamburger restaurants.” We saw Washy’s Pub had good burger reviews, so decided to give them a try for lunch. Washy’s has a simple bar atmosphere with about a dozen tables. We ordered their Classic burger with me having American cheese and my wife pepperjack. We also requested lettuce, pickles, and sliced onions. The handmade patties were about 10 oz (good sized), nicely seasoned, cooked to order, charbroiled, and served on a nicely-toast fresh bun. I had their skinny-style battered fries and my wife had onion rings. The burgers came out hot and were super tasty due the meat seasoning. We’re not sure what seasoning they used, but it worked! My wife’s burger was just a tiny bit better than mine due the pepperjack they use. The fries and onion rings were among the best we’ve had as well. We rated the burgers (even without a special sauce), fries, and onion rings Very Good. The service was also top notch.“

“Tom & Joe's has the best food!! We love to go to Tim & Joe's Wednesday for Chicken it is the Best Tim & Joe's has the Best Fish on Fridays. The waitress work hard to take orders, fill drinks and get anything anyone needs!!!! The beer is cool and drinks are so good. We Love Tim & Joe's and will keep going back for great food, waitress that care that everyone has what they need.“

“Fried Chicken was perfect! The mushroom appetizers were equally perfect! So difficult to find these without being watery after biting into them but these were cooked without any watery aftermath! The lemon meringue pie was excellent! Plus the staff and service were the most attentive, informative and best we’ve seen in a long time! We will be back! Thank you for a great dining experience!“
