The Chicken teriyaki was a little dry for my taste but thats because i love fries with my ketchup like i like chicken with my teriyaki sauce! so this comment is not meant to be a negative comment. It’s more meant to be descriptive. The shrimp tempura’s breading is more corse than other places but again definitely not a negative. just describing. “The food is amazing! Love the all you can eat setup where they bring you your broth, meat and seafood then you go to the buffet tables and get all the veggies, noodles, and sauces you want. This way you don't have to commit to a large quantity of just a few vegetables. I like it because I don't like mushrooms but my partner loves them so he can get a many as he wants and I can get extra lotus root instead. This is our new favorite place to get hotpot and we will definitely be back to try all the different broths, meats and seafood.“

“best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.

“We visited with a large party for a friend’s birthday, so there was a bit of a wait before we were able to get our food order in, but overall the experience was positive. I don’t usually like sushi, so I ordered the yaki udon, which was good, and it came with a miso soup that I really enjoyed; though I do wish the udon portion had been a bit larger.

My partner ordered the Mango Tango roll and chicken tempura sushi and really liked both. The sushi was good overall, and the presentation was pretty, even if it was served on fairly basic plates. We also tried the chicken karaage, which had good flavor but could have been a little juicier.

To top it off, since we were celebrating a birthday, the staff brought out a free dessert for the table, which was a really nice touch. Overall, it’s a solid local all-you-can-eat sushi spot and a good option, especially for group dining.“

The rolls were on the smaller side which means I can order more and get more variety. First of all, I hope this house stays in Chicago for a long time!! I had braised cutlassfish and salted fish, and the braised cutlassfish was particularly delicious. The altang was delicious too! I never expected to eat such delicious cutlassfish in Chicago... Thank you so much!
