“Detroit native living in Texas I wanted a corned beef sandwich before leaving Chicago. Went in ordered 2 mile high sandwiches for me and my boyfriend before heading to the airport. I wanted to taste the sandwiches to make sure they would hit. I only got corned beef from Detroit and my favorites are from coney islands. We took one bite of this sandwich turned around and got 2 more. The corned beef melts like butter sandwiches are amazing“

First bite, you can tell immediately that this was made with a lot of love and care. It legit felt like a hug from my grandmother every bite. Every part of this sandwich, from the bread to the sauce, and even the meatballs, you can tell that no shortcuts were taken. It’s clearly an artisanal sandwich. About a week ago came in and he gave me the best experience while also handling the two other customers behind me with the same great attitude this kid is frightening at first with his size and blank stares at first until you fully come inside the restaurant and he greets you like your the most important person he’s seen all day don’t remember his name but he’s the bigger guy asked me to leave a review about his service and I can say it was very much a great experience wasn’t to happy about pricing but he also insured me I’m paying for quality and man was that number 42 one of the best Philly chickens I’ve had in a while keep up the good work kid and smile a little more“

Not only do they have a wide variety for subs and add ons but they also sell hot dogs , italian beefs , burgers and pizza puffs as well as so many side options from fries to mac n cheese bites! Give it a try and you wont regret it! Super clean , very nice family people 10/10And at the end the nice gentleman gave my daughter a free lollipop! I'm not sure what flavor they have.My grandson and they taste okay. You walk in the male urinal to the left and a supposed to be private door for the use of women and kids. That door the lock didn't stay secure. There was no hand soap as well. I had my grandson stand by the door .So this is part of the reason for the 4-star rate.“

Parking: It's going to be a tight fit. You'll be better off using the drive-thru, IMO. Intercom does NOT work. You have to order your food at the window.“

“Always a must stop on my way to or from the Brookfield Zoo. I don't live in the area any more, but when I visit I always try to hit up Mr. Submarine. I don't know what it is, because at face value the ingredients are just OK. But when you get that shredded lettuce soaked with vinegar and oregano, and the not quite sure what kind of cheese it is, mixed with a true sub roll and solid deli meat. It's a beautiful thing. And the grumpy guy behind the counter, he's been there for 30 years. Different faces over the years, but it's the same guy. Just part of the experience. Never change Mr. Submarine.“

The layout of the store is very appealing, and the fact of a 24-hour Subway inside a gas station/mini-mart on a busy corner in a hotel zone with neighborhoods nearby makes the place indispensable. Nice selection of basic phone cords and chargers, along with other expected items. The locals I saw coming and going seemed to appreciate it as well. “Came here for lunch. First ever Italian beef sandwich! Really impressed! Food was awesome, but the fries were absolutely outstanding! The beef was so flavourful and so tender. The bread was fresh as we. The fries brought me back to a place where I used to get the same flavour of fries when I was a kid. Tried a Chicago hot dog for the first time as well! Quite good!! So today I decided to park in back and I walked in at 1230 pm it was slammed , now I know why , the sandwiches are 5 star and the service also!!! The employee has some arm tats and I’m only saying that so their recognized by management, 200% will be back!!!!!!“

She apologized profusely and had them remake me a sandwich. It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. Completely unnecessary but much appreciated! Yay for people who actually care about their customers (even though, again, in this case, it barely even qualified as an inconvenience to me, lol).
