“Visited for the first time over the weekend. Had a wonderful time, loved the large varied menu, loved the food, loved my drinks, and really loved the performance by Denny Diamond! Three of us in our group and we can’t wait to return! Ordered many food and drink items from the menu because we were all trying the food for the first time and between the three of us, every item was a hit, with no misses. “my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

Me dirijo a ustedes como un cliente frecuente y admirador de su restaurante, en el cual siempre disfruto de una comida deliciosa y un servicio excepcional. Sin embargo, en mi última visita, experimenté una situación que considero importante señalar para su atención y mejora. El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. “lrazú is phenomenal Costa Rican cuisine family Owen...The Pepitos sandwich with avocado is there signature sandwich...The Chifrijo appetizer was delicious recommend a small for two people and I ordered a vegetarian burrito added steak amazing there hot sauce is on point. The food is outstanding. The portions are very generous... The menu is very vegetarian-friendly, and the famous oatmeal shakes deserve the hype. 100% recommend!“

“Beautiful Birthday dinner here in one of the cabanas. Liked the privacy and obscuridad the cabanas and low lights gave. Flavors of soup , scallops, and rib eye were great. Definitely recommend for a date night or girls night 😍“

“I went to Chicago for my niece’s graduation, and then my sister, brother in law and I went to one of his favorite spots.
We drove to El Cubanito in Logan Square.
This spot is a neighborhood staple, & had been there for years.
Not gonna lie, I was super excited to try out some good (dare I say GREAT) Cuban food. Y’all, this place did NOT disappoint!!I ordered the Steak Cubanito ($8.35). I can’t tell you the spices that made up this sammy, but I can tell you I had to cross my legs once I bit into it! Portion size was excellent and filling. The steak was tender, hot and delicious. My only regret is that I can’t get another! I ordered the can of soda ($2) because it was unfamiliar to me.
Sodas aren’t typically my thing, and this one was no exception as it had an aftertaste that reminded me of some kind of artificial sweetener.
The plantains were excellent!
I rated service a “4” because you order at the register and they call you to come pick it up. I rated Atmosphere a “4” because it’s a true local spot, not upity and not scary.“

“Excellent and authentic Mexican food. The salsa is ridiculously good, the chicken tortilla soup is amazing, the al pastor tacos are delicious, and the skirt steak is perfectly seasoned and grilled. Oh, and don't forget the margaritas! Staff is lovely and service is great! This continues to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Western suburbs!“
