Sushi Bars near Northbrook

“Nice vibe on a Saturday night, pretty busy. The restaurant is very nice looking inside. Our server was great, but very busy. The food was OK. We had several different things and some better than others. The tuna crispy rice was pretty good. The potstickers were also pretty good. The spicy deluxe funeral was very good, but the noodle dish we had was not something we would order again. It was thin noodles with vegetables and beef. The beef was very small and very dry/overcooked. The noodles didn't really have enough sauce. Overall, I would like to come again and order more sushi and try other items. I think it's worth another try. Some things we saw at other tables looked good, but it was our first time eating there and we didn't know what to order.“

“First of all, I hope this restaurant stays in Chicago for a long time. I tried the braised cutlassfish, and it was incredibly delicious. I never thought I would find such tasty cutlassfish in Chicago. Having lived near the ocean in Korea before moving to this landlocked city, I've had a hard time finding food that reminds me of home. First of all, I hope this house stays in Chicago for a long time!! I had braised cutlassfish and salted fish, and the braised cutlassfish was particularly delicious. The altang was delicious too! I never expected to eat such delicious cutlassfish in Chicago... Thank you so much! I used to live near the ocean in Korea, but when I moved to Chicago, which is on the mainland, I had a hard time because the food didn't suit my taste, but I think I've finally found the right home. I ate it with my friends and kept saying exclamations of admiration? The owner was also very kind!! May you prosper for a long time... ???“

“I’ve been here twice for lunch and dinner. Both times the fish was perfect. Nigiri and Sashimi that is top of its class (fresh, large portions, perfectly prepared). This is one of the best sushi spots in Chicago and the prices are more reasonable than everywhere else (local or in the city). The Nigiri/Sashimi lunch is only $16 and very large. I had 12 different cuts of fish for dinner. I will definitely be back. Great food, great service, well done! Highly recommended.“

“First time at Kuma's Sushi Bowl yesterday...1) Wife went there for lunch. 2) I stole some of the wife's bowl. 3) We both went back to grab two bowls for dinner, partly to pay her back for her lunch. And, I'd like to add that it's not very close from us. Great, fresh and delicious sushi bowls. Worth upsetting your significant other for!“
