“I won't rate the food because it's only snacks. They do have menus from nearby restaurants though, which is really cool.

This is a wonderful cocktail bar. The bartenders are really good at what they do. I think Luke is usually working when I go there? He is really good at what he does and super fun to watch. Very precise and intentional with the way he makes drinks.

I always feel very welcome and relaxed here. It is sort of strange that it is in the base of an apartment complex. I think if I lived here I would be a bit weirded out by all of these strangers in the lobby of my building.

It's nice to get drinks and then go wherever in the lobby, at the bar, or out in the back patio area of the building.

Trivia on Wednesdays is always fun as well.“

“This is a review for Nightshade. To get there, you go to the back of Moonflower then through the unmarked black door to the right and downstairs. There are two rooms - one for music/ dancing and the other with small tables for drinks. The night I went the music room wasn’t open (guess you have to know when it’s club night). A bit bare bones in terms of furniture/ atmosphere. But, the drinks were EXCELLENT. Not a huge selection but the table I was with ordered about four different drinks from the specialty menu and they were all better than I was expecting.

Though the downstairs is designed for drinking I saw people eating from the menu upstairs so apparently you can do that.“

“Pete's has become our favorite date spot. We came in February for Valentine's Day, and have been four times since, including this past weekend for my birthday. It is always fun, there are always new songs, and the performers are amazingly talented. Christian, Tony, Anthony and Jeremy (sorry for any misspellings) are very creative, charismatic and always put on a great show. Our favorite servers are Bree and Miriam. Can't wait to come back!“

“Made a delivery and the owners had been notified by my employer that it was my birthday. They put together a margarita to go for me and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better one. And the owners were extremely kind even though I was running late.“

“This is our go-to place to stay when we ski at Granite Peak. The staff is professional, responsive and caring. When my daughter was sick they brought the medicine to our room and made sure we didn’t need anything else. The location is also perfect near some incredibly good restaurants!! I highly recommend.“

“I can’t say enough great things about U-Star Karaoke! We had the absolute best night ever. They went above and beyond by opening up on a Tuesday just for our group of 25, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was super spacious and they had an endless selection of songs. The staff was so kind and attentive all evening, and they really made sure we had a blast. As a cherry on top, the staff gave us a complimentary bottle of soju and some glasses to take home at the end of the night. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend, and we will be back!“

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. This time we decided to try eating something here, and ordered the avocado BLT and the fish and chips. The sandwich was solid, the fish was great, but what stood out to me was the fries. I told the bartender/server that the fries were killer, and he said some people just come in and order fries cause they are so good. I believe it! Truly, these are the best fries on Lincoln Ave from Irving to at least Bryn Mawr. Parking: Free Street parking, never had an issue. You can park across the street in the bank parking lot when it's closed, don't park there when the bank is open!“

“We have discovered this place 3 years ago when we are searching for an outdoor casual dining. What we found was a great place that had outdoor seating on a deck patio with umbrellas and a TV set to watch sporting events. The service was friendly, and the food was great. The drinks were very reasonable. The menu was large having everything from sandwiches to dinners. We never had a bad experience there and brought family and friends to enjoy the evening sitting outside. We always come back.“
